Birchgrove Garden Centre Ltd

I love this little Garden centre. It has a good variety of plants and they always look in great condition. We got a really good bargain there for garden furniture last year. But quite often we go there just for the restaurant. It's good food, large portions and good service, but be aware, they are often full.

We live in Rugby, Warwickshire.We have friends in Spalding who have grand children that work at the cafe / restaurant there.It is now almost mandatory that when we visit we go to Birchgrove for breakfast.What a wonderful plate of artery hardening loveliness.All I can say is that many, many years ago I had the pleasure of working with George Slinger (who I believe is the proprietor of Birchgrove) and a canny business man as ever he made a great decision getting the restaurant established there.If you would like to educate someone as to the meaning of a 'full English' and you can find your way to Birchgrove - fill your boots and loosen your belt cos this brekky is the bizzo.Malcolm Clarke, Rugby, Warwickshire 06.12.23

Medium sized Garden centre with adequate parking. Good quality plants at a reasonable price. All staff were very friendly and helpful especially the checkout lady. Would visit again.

This garden centre is amazing. The choices are endless and the priced are very reasonable. The cafe is fantastic. They are always busy so good to book. The food is top quality and plentiful. I have had the ploughman's and the breakfast, both were too big to finish, but that's ok because we could have taken the rest home in a takeaway box if we wanted. I can't finish without giving a shout out to Carl, who is lovely

A good-sized carpark and their was disabled spaces as well ., I went into the pet and animal feed shop . The cafe is really good , great selection of food , & beverages and didn't have to wait long .The garden centre itself is small

Bought a body protector and they provided a very helpful fitting service. They were not far away from closing but still more than happy to help. Gave good advice on after care and were much more price competitive than other local competitors. Will use the shop again.

Lovely staff always ready to advise and help with putting purchases in the car for me. Very wide range of plants, bulbs and seeds and now the added addition of the lawnmower service centre. Can't fault them.

Only a quick look around centre as short on time. But a friend and I enjoyed a lovely lunch. We didn't book and although they were busy seated us quite quickly. The staff were very efficient and friendly. I had Quiche, jacket potato and a lovely salad my friend had the chilli and rice. All the food was lovely, home cooked and good sized portions. People on a table close to us had the afternoon tea which looked delicious ( will definitely revisit to try ).

A nice little garden centre, cafe is nice, food is of good quality and prep is good, staff are friendly. Plant area is quite run down in places and needs work otherwise ok for a small garden centre. Toilet facilities are insufficient for the number of visitors. The pet/equestrian shop is lovely and staff are lovely.

A lovely little garden centre. Didn't look around the plants section but they have a good selection of plants, garden furniture, bbq's & water features. There is also a tack/pet section too which s laden with stock. We stopped at the cafe/restaurant & it was lovely. Very friendly staff & the food/coffee was amazing. Plenty of parking too
