2 years down the line I'm writing the same review, had the garden done and it was the gardener who ordered the skip, and guess what they haven't turned up to take it away. It's like Deja vu. Absolute joke of a company.

Hired a skip a few weeks ago for a Gardening project, from GSH Skips, Widnes. I've got to say I was really impressed with the whole experience. Great Communication, Punctual, Reliable, Stress free and thought they were very reasonably priced.Will definitely be reccomending them to others and using them again if the need arises in the future.Many Thanks.

Was let down by another Skip Company called JF Skips, they had nearly a week to sort out the order, they ballsed it up, these guys sorted it out for me within an hour. Excellent price. No other skip company to use in Widnes!!!

Used these guys this morning, Excellent to book with, and the driver (Martin) was top, turned up on time, couldn't do enough to help. Will use again and recommend highly for the Frodsham area!

I always use GSH and have done for several years for various projects.I find them good value reliable and good service. The lads are great.

Dealt with GSH for a number of years now and have always been impressed about how reliable and professional they are about their work. Price is very good value for money also! Would recommend to anyone searching for skip hire!

Terrible experience when trying to order a skip with a permit. Originally quoted by Sheila: £160 CASH (plus permit cost) or £190 (plus permit cost), then was told actually it would be £190 and to pay the driver cash on delivery??? My response to that was I'd rather pay by card which I was told I could do by phoning up and paying once the skip had been delivered.On that note I booked it for delivery the next morning, left my builder's number along with my own and arranged to pay over the phone once it had been dropped off. On the day of delivery the skip still hadn't been delivered by noon so I phoned GSH to see why not. Sheila then told me that she tried ringing the builder the night before and left a message to say that she'd made a mistake and they couldn't accept card payments after delivery it would need to be paid for before. Again frustrating, but what was more frustrating was being told that they now wouldn't be able to get a skip out until the following week... 4 days later than expected!!!I have since caught up with my builder who has shown me evidence that there was no phone call or voicemail, I had checked with GSH that they had the correct number which they had. This has now set me back on works being carried out on the property and I will need to find another company to use.I am not usually a keyboard warrior" however I did express my disgust in the level of service over the phone & would like to make sure others don't fall victim to this company's incompetence!"

I had some garden work done and the contactor ordered the skip from GSH. The work took three days and the skip has been there for a week now. I have rung up on 4 occasions to get it moved and been fobbed off each time with false promises that it will be picked up. They even said that the driver came a few days ago but couldn't get at the skip even though it is at the roadside with nothing on all four sides. Not impressed.

I requested a skip to be delivered between 1-2pm as it's the only time I would be able to be at the property as I work full-time from home. The person on the phone assured me it would be delivered at 1.30pm. Based off that, I waited at the property from 1pm to take delivery. The skip did not arrive. I phoned for an update at 1.40pm and was told the skip was only just being loaded and would be 30mins! I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited. 30 mins later no skip was delivered so I phoned again explaining that I need to go back to work. I was put on hold nearly 5 mins before being told it would only" be another 15 mins. I said there's no way I can wait that long because I need to be back at work and they're already 40 mins late.
