Southcroft Dental Practice

I recently had an infiltration procedure done the experience was great from start to finish - cracking jokes, 24/7.For anyone that doesn’t know infiltration procedure just removes off white patches on your teeth. Looks great thanks!

Please please please review the other one star reviews to get a fair representation of this awful practice. Dr D Souza and his team are extremely unprofessional, rude and aggressive (aggressively shouting at me and my wife for not being able to complete a form). I have never in my life experienced such rude conduct and mannerism from a fellow human (absolute lack of decency resulting in me being traumatised by the experience). Was really disappointed that we were treated this awfully just because we were elderly and needed some help with the forms and process. Both Dr and Secretary were screaming at us. Moreover, from experience, this dentist does not favour NHS treatment, but rather will make you go private if he can. Please beware and carefully review the one star reviews so you know what to expect. It is already a traumatic experience to go to the dentist without this type of experience. The receptionist are also incredibly rude. If you read the other one star reviews the common theme is that this dentist is extremely rude and prioritises private treatment over NHS treatment and is very condescending. Please take all.

I've been going to Southcroft dental since moving to London, and I am completely satisfied with the service I have received.I came to the surgery after getting frustrated with the call queues and long waits for other surgeries, as Southcroft dental got back to me the same day I emailed them, and booked me an appointment within a few days.When it came to treatment NHS and private options were always given, and the pros and cons of each were explained in a great level of detail. Decisions were never pressured, and the option to go away and consider everything was always explicitly given, which helped put my mind at ease.I decided to opt for private treatment at the practice, and I was extremely happy with the experience. After hearing horror stories from family about the treatment I needed I was nervous going in, but the entire treatment proceeded extremely smoothly, and I experienced absolutely zero pain or discomfort. All the staff were polite and friendly at all times.Follow-up appointments were extremely easy to book, with the time/date being based around when was convenient for me, rather than when there was availability. Compared to the other practices I contacted this was very nice to experience.In response to some of the other reviews here about Dr D'Souza's recommendations for private treatment, I was also shocked at first at some of the prices as I have never opted for private care before. However, upon researching prices at other clinics, I found these prices were very standard. I never felt pressured into opting for private treatment, and he was always happy to answer my calls and emails asking for more information. After numerous personal and family experiences dealing with public health/dental care, I was very happy to just have the treatment I needed without delay or frustration.Overall I was very satisfied with my experience at Southcroft dental and will be returning to the practice for any future treatment.

Was able to get an emergency appointment and was able to treat my tooth by extraction. I also came back a week later for a clean and done a fantastic job! Much appreciated for their services

I have been a patient here for a while and would never go anywhere else. An excellent dentist and the practice staff are lovely. Very good for nervous patients like me. I trust the dentist 100% and can honestly say that my teeth and gums are better than they have been in years.

My family been going to this practice for the last 3 years, lovely small clean practice with polite receptionist, Doctor is always giving attention to detail and a kind Nurse. Thank you for looking after our teeth!

I registered with this practice about two years ago after a long period without a dentist. Dr D Souza has been excellent and really listened to my concerns about unnecessary and expensive treatment suggested by previous dentists and consulted and advised me every step of the way so I really felt trust and confidence in his recommendations. NHS appointments are available and the practice are very transparent about what they can and can’t do within the NHS contract and what you might need to pay. I would highly recommend. A great personal service . Very quick response on the phone and no long waiting times for appointments.

Guy if you want to ruin your teeth go to this dentist like how this doctor ruin my teeth gums,,on the reception one girl is sitting she is not helpful at all she is soo moody,,so I went there to clean my teeth by NHS cover and he was calling me poor poor oh you might don't have money to clean your teeth or you might don't want to pay extremely rude and his securtry is moody girl as well none of them are welcoming plus this is not really a surgery it's a fun out there and they play with people teeths ,,I'm done with them the minute I came home I change my dental surgery what a huge mistake I made in my life to been in there

Had my teeth whitened last week and I'm blown away by the results. Staff was super friendly and the area itself felt a little exclusive, which was something that I liked was really clean and had a cool vibe to it. But the best part was seeing my teeth go from yellow to pearly white - going to be honest its worth the investment and much better than those crest teeth whitening strips on amazon that everyones raving about.
