I used the DBG before Dental Directory bought it . Service was ok . After this horrible cooperation bought it it became horrible and care only about new purchases... they don't care about service ..they don't care about independent practices ..they care about their owned Mydentist group and new purchases through Dental directory . Their service contracts are worthless .. If you looking for a good service look somewhere else ..Avoid by all means

An order doesnt arrive, I call, provide card details for an outgoing balance, it's payed, but then a week later my card information has been used all over England for £500. I don't believe this is a coincidence. There is something seriously wrong with the customer service here, criminal even. The workers must be writing down the information, not to mention the overall customer service is atrocious as it is, with things taking days for a reply.STAY VERY CLEAR FROM THIS PLACE!

Stay well clear of the servicing department. I had there engineers come over last year to fix a Belmont chair as the ultrasonic was leaking and fast suction was slow. On the initial visit they sent a kid that didn't know anything and was on the phone to a senior engineer for help. Eventually he said that another engineer would need to make another visit and a full service would need to be done. I arranged this for a couple of weeks later. They cancelled it and arranged for a week later as they made a mistake and needed 2 engineers onsite and had made a mistake and only sent one. They then came around and flaffed around for about 3 hours. Eventually he said he fixed the leak from the ultrasonic but the downside to it was that the dentist had to toggle a switch under the cart unit at the same time of use in order to have water spray. Obviously this was totally impractical and told him that this was not a solution and didn't understand how we do treatments!!!They arranged another appointment for 1week to 10 days later. Over the weekend there was a leak from the surgery he had worked on and into the ceiling of the downstairs surgery. So come in on Monday and there is water everywhere, ruined the ceiling and its dripping everywhere. We had to cancel patients that day. Spoke to DD and they called the engineer back that morning. He said he didn't touch the water or anything and believed it was some water pipe burst or something. I told him that I already had had my builder and plumber over and both were adamant it was a leak form the chair. He went to the room and worked on the chair for about 30 mins and guess what the water stopped dripping. Yet he still had the audacity to say it wasn't the dental chair!!!By this time I had lost confidence and cancelled the next visit from the engineer. I arranged another company to come down ( Anglian dental ). Very professional and they sorted out the issues within 3 hours. I cant repeat what they thought of the previous work carried out.Consequently I was on the phone and emails to DD to find an amicable solution to this as I believed that I should not pay for part of the visits as it was not fixed and on top of that caused £1200 damage to the downstairs surgery ceiling. However the servicing department were completely abnoxious and demanded that the work had been done and payment was due. I asked for my complaint to be reviewed and they passed it over to another person in the servicing department who upheld the decision. I told them that the complaint needed to be reviewed from someone outside their department as there was a conflict of issue. They have not done this and am still waiting. In the meantime they have sent it to their credit control company demanding payment of £2543. I have tried reasonably to come to a settlement for works that were done and completed but am not willing to pay for work that caused more damage by an incompetent engineer. I have been with DD for 10 years and have not ordered anything from them since. Their lack of understanding and client care is appalling. After speaking to colleagues on facebook etc it sadly seems like an inherent issue within the company over the last 2 years and is on a downward spiral. Long and short of it... If you need an engineer stay well clear of DD as it will cost you more and service is poor. I have tried to sort things out but to no avail.

Support is awful.I didn't even managed to place an order! I was trying to get an account for 15 days (make no mistake - I would be prepaying- I wasn't asking for credit or anything) and after several follow-ups on my behalf and promises that it would be set up withing 24-48 hours, I got fed up and ordered from elsewhere.Wrote an email complaing and I obviously didn't even get an apology.

DD is a great company to order from, always quick delivery and they call you when something is not in stock Claire Wheeler our rep is brilliant always attentive and helps with whatever we need. It is our number one supplier for most of our ordering. Highly recommend.

Very unprofessional company as far as recruitment goes.I was contacted through my linked in profile saying my CV fitted their requirements.I called and was intrigued to find out more.I had a telephone call with HR and was told I would hear about an interview or they would let me know if I was not required.Nothing heard whatsoever!Just a thanks but no thanks would have sufficed, that is common decency!Obviously your HR staff need educating on social skills.A wasted lunch hour wasted on what I really classify as a cold call I should never have answered!Lesson learnt and a warning to anyone else that is contacted via linked in!

Truly, a personal and personality based business. Always good to hear from the DD team, either on the phone or in person with reps and management alike. Always competitive on pricing most notably over the whole range of practice purchases. Highly recommended.
