We bought a new property and needed Blinds and curtains in every room, in the middle of quite a stressful house move. We contacted Hillary Blinds and they came promptly, and provided all the advice we needed to make all decisions around types, shapes and colours. They were incredibly patient and nice, and not only didn't push to sell us more, they kindly suggested to buy only the basics until we were comfortable to continue. We've been very happy with their customer service and attention to detail. We would definitely recommend and buy again from them as the experience has been fantastic! 5*

I’m very pleased with my new blinds. Campbell did a great job.

They came to my house and told me that their Shutters were 700 pounds a square metre but I could have 50 percent off taking it to 350 pounds a square metre. I asked for a price list, they refused. Industry standard is 180 to 300 a square metre. Absolute scammers

I had a shutter installed at my home in May I had waited for 6 months for it and paid up front. I was not there for installation my freind was there in my place. When I got home it was not the one I had ordered. They said they would refund me £100 I said I wanted the right shutter and they agreed to send out someone to measure up for the right shutter and that was in May and the last contact I have had with them . I have been to consumer advice Scotland and they sent Hillary's 3 letters which they have not replied to. I will now be contacting the Sherri be court Edinburgh to recover my £699.0 for the shutter with a thing called a Simplyfied procedure this company are totally shambolic and donot care about there customer s. Got 3 wooden blinds fitted. Every cord on all 3 blinds snapped within 14 months. Company said it was due to neglect and refused to re-cord for free. Poor product and poorer customer service!

Appalling quality, appalling customer service and zero accountability. Paid over £3k for blinds. They started falling apart about a month later. Reported this to the local area rep who said he hadnt seen this in all the years he has been doing this, implying it was something we were doing - they are roller blinds for goodness sakes - not cricket bats! They have one simple job. Roll up, roll down. the plastic end caps at the bottom of the blinds fall off every time the blinds are used. The ends at the top have fallen off because the double sided adhesive tape is not sufficient to hold them in place. The ends at the bottom falling off causes the mechanisms to damage the synthetic material of the blinds.Save your money and buy your blinds elsewhere. Use a credit card to pay so you have a third party who can intervene and protect your money if you do choose to go with Hilarys. We have raised an action in the local small claims court to recover our money because Hilary's just want you to keep going around in circles until you are exhausted and fed up enough to say forget it.Absolutely shameful and shambolic.

Absolute scam. Totally miss sold me blackout blinds where the blackout fabric doesn't reach the edge of the blind so loads of light gets through.

I took this morning off work to get my blind measured out and fitted i booked the appointment got a email to comfirm it all was fine. The person was meant to come between 8am-12pm then called at 11:50 to say sorry im too busy to come today. It was a complete waste of time so if you value your time give this company a miss.

Booked an appointment 3 weeks in advance. Received a message the day before with a 3 hr window and no one shows up. Called the advisory line and they are unable to tell me why. Not acceptable customer service.

Brilliant service from Paul@Hillarys based Edinburgh!!Communication was excellent right from the initial enquiry.Paul took his time and talked me through what blinds I could get and what I couldn't get due to the window I have.Great choice of colours.I had other companies out quoting and they were 10 minutes max . They referred me to their website rather than showing me their samples.Will use definitely again!!Very happy with perfect fit blinds and 2 rollers.
