Fantastic service! Had an on-line chat with Martyn on Friday afternoon and was disappointed that the Primare NP5 Mk2 (open box) that I was after from the website had been sold. Martyn offered to send a brand new one at the same price and I placed the order. My parcel arrived on Saturday afternoon and my new toy is now set up and sounding great! Fantastic service and friendly, knowledgable advice from Martyn made the whole process enjoyable and painless. I'll certainly be back for any future hi-fi purchases.

We booked the private cinema and loved it! A real find and so glad we went. Following a promo for free 1 hour screenings we booked our slot but ideally wanted to watch It’s A Wonderful Life which was 2 hours. I dropped a message to the centre and they very kindly let us use the cinema for 2 hours.Martyn met us on arrival and got us set up in the intimate room which offered incredibly comfortable seating for 4. (I believe they can accommodate 6) a perfect cinema experience without the disturbance of other people ruining your film, what more could you want?!Martyn kindly took the time to ensure we were comfortable and enjoyed the experience to the max.For anyone looking for an intimate cinema experience this is the place for you. They also sell a whole range of gadgets and gizmos to create an at home cinema feel. We’re very keen in creating something similar at home so will definitely be back for some expert advice.Thank you for such a lovely experience, it really made our Christmas.

I needed some Lyngdorf equipment really quickly. Martyn at Nottingham Hi fi Centre sorted my order in literally minutes. Probably the best nicest and quickest help I've ever had. And then when the urgent next day delivery seemed to be delayed Martyn got it fixed. Ordered delivered within 24 hours. Martyn kept in touch throughout. Amazing service ! And it's great kit. The advice, support, AND the prices at Nottingham HiFi are nothing short of excellent. It's natural to think that the biggest online retailer (with the smile logo) will have the best prices. In my experience Nottingham Hi-Fi beat them every single time. And don't forget, every time you order from the biggest online retailer, you drive home one more nail into the coffin of real shops staffed by actual people (who are experts) on the High Street. And when they've gone, they'll be no more expert advice, no more helpful support, no more technical know-how on the end of the phone or actual shop to visit to see what you're considering before you buy. It's a no brainer really.

I've been keeping an eye on Technics SL-1200GR prices for some time.... like about 4 years! But with Black Friday upon us I noticed a few places were reducing prices, but still not to the level I could afford. I called NHC and was blown away by the response and service I got. I made an offer that was my maximum budget and Mike to his credit agreed the price. Suffice to say I think I may have just got one of the most competitive 1200GR deals in the UK, Richer Sounds and Sevenoaks Audio could not match it and virtually said, definitely buy it if that's the price!.But that's not all, Mike even offered to change the website price temporarily so that I could use Paypal credit, in the end I didn't need to do this but it demonstrated superb customer service to offer this.I ordered on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning I had my new gleaming SL-1200GR delivered, again excellent service combined with DPD delivery. It isn't possible to review the same business twice and so I am posting a new review on top of my previous one as an edit.2023 09 22 - I would like to praise Anthony who has taken over from Martyn since my last visit/review. Anthony guided me through various options for mains conditioning and cables without any undue sales pressure whatsoever.He was very objective in ensuring that I tried things in stages rather than buy everything at once and that I heard a positive difference in each product before I committed to anything. Thank you Anthony, I shall definitely be back for anything else I need.My previous review: I can heartily recommend Nottingham hifi. Martyn couldn't have been more helpful in giving me an unrushed, friendly, wonderful demo without any pressure. Nothing was too much trouble and he answered all my questions honestly and expertly. The system he had put together in advance matched the warmer sound I was after. He had taken the time in previous discussions to find out exactly what I was looking for. During the demo, he also adapted the demo system as we went along to try different things. I really admire his honesty in giving his views and it is clear that Martyn's overriding aim is to ensure that the customer ends up with the best solution and is happy with it. The whole demo was thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you Martyn.

Very helpful, my item was going to take a while to import/ship and I was kept up to date with timelines. Also helpful on the phone. Happy to recommend.

Over the telephone I bought a Technics SL1500C turntable the other afternoon. Martin at Nottingham Hi-Fi was very helpful and amenable and didn't seem to mind spending a fair bit of time answering all my questions. The turntable arrived safely down here in Sussex the next morning.Great service thank you Martin.
