Knockderry Country House Hotel
We had a lovely relaxing, overnight stay at Knockderry. Our Master room had great views of the Loch. As always, the food was great and the staff were all so nice.

Knockderry Country House Hotel
Update..... we now have Tennants lager and Guinness on tap, are under new ownership, and excited for good times ahead. Am working here so am biased but OMG if it's a countryhouse hotel with character, great, attentive service and a wee dram you're after .... this truly is the place to stay ....

Knockderry Country House Hotel
This was a lovely stay. I wish I had booked more nights. Our room was beautiful, and the view was amazing. The only downside was it's kind of far away from everything, but if you're looking for a quiet, romantic getaway... it's perfect. The food was amazing too.

Knockderry Country House Hotel
Met here for an all day business meeting with coffees and lunch. Was totally spoiled by the staff, who doted on us with cheer! What's more is that the food was gorgeous, the decor invites you to a luxury of bygone eraa complete with carved wood, beautiful panelling and unique stained glass. Then you top it all off with breathtaking views of the coast. All in all a lovely time and Murdo is a great host. Would highly recommend any time.

Didn’t stay, however we got recommended food and it was genuinely amazing, met the owner who was a very pleasant & interesting gentleman.Managed to fit us in , the service, hospitality & location was fabulous!Hopefully I will return with my wife, I class this place as a solid 5/5

Knockderry Country House Hotel
We stayed at Knockderry country house for one night at the start of our 1 week road trip around Scotland. I was a little skeptical when I booked due to the low price compared to other places. I booked the cozy double so I was expecting something to resemble a cupboard with a bed in it! I was pleasantly surprised! The location is idyllic, very quiet with views over the loch which can be enjoyed with a drink on the outside seating. We were greeted by Laura, who is lovely. She made the visit memorable and nothing seemed too much trouble. The hotel is very comfortable, the drawing room for drinks in the evening to the dining room which we had a evening meal which was very goodThe breakfast was very good aswell. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area

Knockderry Country House Hotel
We were staying at Cape Cove last week with our family.We decided to try the hotel for dinner which was a 5 min walk, and had such a lovely meal in the hotel that evening that we decided to eat there again that week.The food was delicious and nicely presented, a feast for the eyes and the palette.The staff were so friendly and obliging and nothing was too much trouble.We will definitely go back if we are in the area again.

Knockderry Country House Hotel
We called in to see if we could get a drink as non residents and were made to feel welcome although there are limited facilities to cater for walk ins. The view from the front lounge, and the tables outside, which is where we sat until the sun dropped behind the mountains across the loch is stunning. Apparently if you ring there are occasionally opportunities to dine but the tables are initially reserved for residents. We enjoyed our visit, this is an extremely traditional hotel and an aged smell hits you as soon as you go in but definitely worth calling in if you are passing.
