Robert Price - Timber

We wanted to make a not so nice area look a little better. Looked at the Robert Price website had always seen their timber yard driving by on A470 on our way home. Took a while to get confidence to ring up just a bit nervous I suppose with the crazy world we find ourselves in. I needn’t have worried as the chap on the phone was very helpful and help me plan the wood we’d needed for the job. We took delivery then the work started. We needed to ring again to order the railings the staff who helped us always had patience and were very helpful Ros and George were particularly amazing what truly lovely people they are to deal with. We would highly recommend Robert Price for all your DIY needs.

George and all of the team based out of the Taffs Well branch have been a pleasure to deal with. From point of initial enquiry to delivery and offloading, and then for dealing with the purchase and collection of additional timber to finish off the project they have been incredibly helpful and accommodating from start to finish.

Staff were friendly and helpful on the phone. Softwood skirting was of good quality, keenly priced, and was delivered well wrapped up against the weather. A pleasure to do business with.

We were looking for some exterior wood cladding for our new garden studio room and went to Robert Price Timber . George there was most helpful, gave us excellent advice and sorted everything.He sourced the correct wood treatment for us and even personally delivered it to our home. We recently Purchased a garden shed from Robert Price’s taffs well department.The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful with our purchase.There was a manufacturing issue with our item after delivery but the taffs well team especially Tom Cleaver dealt with everything so professionally. Excellent service. Carwyn was extremely helpful in Sales, arranging a part delivery from Swansea and Steve the driver was so polite and helpful, even helped me carry the two heavier items around to my rear garden. Had 2 deliveries of timber from Robert Price and they have been brilliant to deal with. Received great service from George in particular who has been extremely helpful. Special mention goes to Adrian the delivery driver who managed to squeeze down our extremely tight street, great service all round.

Superb stock level. anted MDF skirting my usual suppliee had one 2.4 metre length and none of the 3.6 meter length within 100 miles. Honest I checked. Great staff and service and price. I know where I will be going to from now on.
