Currently forestry works going on until the end of November so parking availability and access to some of the paths is reduced.You can still access the level “yellow” path but for something a bit longer cross the road.

Awasome walk, easy to follow with sign posts dotted about. Quite a hill on one side but not too hard

Beautiful woods, especially in Autumn. Only complaint is that the signs all contradicted each other when describing the length of the walks. Navigation was not particularly visible meaning we ended up looping ourselves and doing a much shorter walk than we wished.

Remote National Trust car park, accessed by very narrow lanes. Take a map and compass if you walk in the woods.
