Overall, pleasant and comfortable stay for what I was there for on business. The facilities provided were as you’d expect for a hotel it's designed. The staff were friendly, pleasant and very helpful.

Holiday Inn Express Swindon West, an IHG Hotel
Only stayed there as we were in town to visit my mother in law . The rooms are kinda small. Breakfast are very basic with bacon, scramble eggs , sausages and beans . And selection of fruits and some slice bread. Very basic so even though we stayed 4 nights we didn’t eat breakfast every day . Location is conveniently near the motorway and is only about 10 minutes drive to mother in law place and town .

Great location for Swindon and the M4 for London and Bristol.Good sized rooms although it's a pull out sofa bed for kids, so not great if you have older children.Good breakfast and really nice, helpful reception staff. Room carpets could do with a clean but not horrendous or enough to prevent future stay.Overall good value for money.

Everything was as expected - very nice and clean, beds were comfortable and air conditioning in room.Only downer was the dinner menu, it was limited, for instance don't expect to eat a steak as it's not on the menu.Breakfast is available but didn't have it this time.

Holiday Inn Express Swindon West, an IHG Hotel
Stayed 2 nights as was in driving distance to our day out. A good amount of free parking and a good buffet breakfast included. Room was large enough for 4 of us, and the bed settee was comfortable. It was still sunny when we stayed but if during colder nights, the room could be cold as the heating did not work. Location not suited if you don't get to by car.

Unfortunately rooms are not as described. The bed you book says double. It is in fact a queen bed which is smaller than a double . The room I booked showed a sofa in room . Room given had no sofa but a desk . Had to change rooms after a lot of discussions with guy on reception he finally gave in as we had a small dog and she had nothing to sleep on . Especially as we got charged an extra £25 for 1 night for dog . !!The heater was integrated in aircon and took forever to get warm .Breakfast was all cold . Bacon .sausages scrambled egg. Beans etc . ALL COLD !!. Even plates were cold .Definately won't be staying again here . Not the same as other holiday inns .
