UK Leak Detection

Professional and comprehensive survey of possible leak in our heating/hot water system. Cameron was attentive and thorough (spending a full 10 hours on site!) and was extremely easy to deal with. The post survey report was issued immediately and was good quality.

Deeply disappointed by this service after reading so many good things about them online. The operator spent over four hours with his high tech gear and came up with a location based on photographs of the building prgress we had shown him. My own contractors excavated where indicated and found - nothing. The actual leak turned out to be across the other side of next-door's property ( an area surved by the operator) My contractor found it after two hours with a shovel! When I contacted Uk Leak Detection to complain and report this, they didn't even ave the decency to respond to my email. Definitely NOT recommended.

Money very well spent! I needed an independent report to challenge the developers I'd bought a property from. UK Leak Detection were thorough and detailed uncovering a number of issues. When I had challenges from my developer, UK Leak Detection were helpful and patient to respond to further questions after the survey and even gave me advice on how to progress dealing with the developers and recommended a legal contact that could help. Couldn't be a happier customer.

Really nice chap whose lab tests confirmed the presence of high levels of moisture and mould, which is clearly seeping through the floor. Unlike a surveyor my landlady used whom I suspect does both insurance companies checking and brokers those same companies- he claimed it was condensation. But this lab report clearly shows he doesn’t know anything. The mould is making us quite sick so we have to move while it’s sorted out (example: my peak flow was 200 on leaving for a mini vacation after 3 days of not being exposed it was my normal 650) definitely recommended- well worth the price

Diligently located the source of the leak I have been struggling to identify for a very long time. The professional was very thorough, he actively listened, he was patient and he explained everything clearly. A pleasure to deal with. All in all spent almost six hours checking every possibility before finalising his report. I was initially concerned about the cost of the service but by the end of the day I was happy to have made the investment.

I am dealing with a serious leak from my property into the flat below. I emailed UK Leak Detection on Sunday, after reading their reviews. I got an email back yesterday (Monday) asking me to phone to book, but I responded I was unable to phone because of my own work commitments but saying I accepted their terms and could they please liaise with my tenant and her neighbour to book an appointment on their mobiles. The only response I got to that was the same email again, signed Andrew Davies. I left a voicemail after hours early yesterday evening, and got a call back this morning from a withheld number. When I called back I was told they are unable to make outgoing calls or respond to email (except the automated response) and they are booked up this week in any case! I have wasted a whole 2 days believing these people would help me when they can't even respond properly.MY RESPONSE TO UK LEAK DETECTION'S COMMENTOf course I did not necessarily expect you to work on a Sunday or an evening. However, when I finally did manage to reach someone she advised me you can only respond by email with an automated response and you cannot make outgoing calls - the customer must phone in to book. She then informed you were booked this week so we were looking at next week at the earliest. This a very serious leak and because the leak is not visible in my property I've been told there is no point in calling an ordinary plumber till we know the source. In the meanwhile, the neighbour's ceiling is about to collapse, her lights are off and her room is getting more and more saturated.

I do not normally leave reviews, but the service I received was fantastic and well beyond what I had expected. I had been messed around by plumbers and my insurer was being really awkward. I found UK Leak Detection on the internet, read their website and decided to book; it was almost desperation and when they arrived I was feeling pretty agitated and thought I was going to have to argue with them too. Nothing could have been further from the truth... They listened to the issues I had experienced with the plumbers and insurer and gave some initial ideas (getting that off my chest was therapeutic!) quickly started the detection of the leak and within a few hours had used all kinds of equipment to locate the leak. They then wrote a report that was so clear that the insurer had no choice but to accept the claim. I cannot emphasise the relief this was, I can laugh about it now, but at the time it was like dealing with an illness and they were just what the Doctor ordered.
