Ozone Plaice

Two stars for the chips which were mediocre, but edible at least. No stars for the service which was complete chaos. This is the second time I've been there, having been there a few years ago, and the service speed is as glacial then as it is now. It took 20 minutes to get a medium chips, at a chip shop, you'd think they'd have been able to do better?

The best fish and chips shop in oxfordshire. I am still very amazed at the quality of their fish, the order my family and I placed was made to my specification. I love this place and i will certainly visit again and again.

Can never rely on their stated opening hours. Last two times I went during their opening hours (clearly shown on the door/window) they were closed with no reason why, which is frustrating after making the journey there. It's a shame as the one time we had the food it was decent.

Oxfords best kept secret!!Pay no attention to the negative reviews.I've been going for years.Yes, a little slow at busy times, especially when United are at home, but on quieter times, no issues.Easily the tastiest fish and chips in Oxford.Highly recommended.10/10

Absolutely brilliant food best fish & chips ever never greasy and great prices

Normally very good but today disgusting chips all different colours old and new mixed together very old tasting with potato bruised and black marks batterd sausage was awful batter soft in places and fell off the sausage used to good good from here but today very bad

SO SO SLOW. The staff are also rather rude (to customers AND each other) and it's expensive compared to other chip shops. The chip portions however were very generous, but the chicken was dry. I would just go somewhere else.

Are the rest of the reviews serious!? Hands down the worst chips I have ever eaten. I stayed locally last night and decided to try this place. I visited at 8.30pm on a Friday evening and when I ordered chips, the less than friendly guy serving me, filled a carton half full and then, without saying a word walked around to the other side of the fryer to cook some more chips.. it was crazy of me to think that a chip shop would actually have chips cooked ready on a Friday evening. When I finally received the chips from the cheery fellow (no) I took them back to my hotel only to find that they were pale, tasteless and rubbery.. needless to say they went straight in to the bin. I will not be returning.

If I could give minus stars then I would. This was single handedly the WORST experience I've ever had customer service wise. Not only was I waiting for 25 minutes for some chips, but once I asked for a refund, I was spoken to SO disrespectfully and sarcastically. I then had to wait for chips I no longer wanted as he, 'couldnt give me a refund'. To which after even more time had passed I had to speak to the manager on their telephone. She was extremely rude and told me to never go back- I never would anyway. I just wanted a refund. I've never been treated as horribly as I was there.
