From the perspective of an engineer with a lot of experience in fluid dynamics, I found Mark to be experienced and knowledgeable. He also conducts his business with integrity. We had him by to advise on what we thought was a big problem. He advised us that we did not have a big problem and why while suggesting some minor remedial steps that we could take on our own. He said, we should re-assess this summer, but is not expecting any issues to crop up--and if they do, we should give him a call. We certainly will. If you appreciate honesty and expertise in your building specialist, then you will be happy with Mark and Wessex.

We are in the process of buying a house and in the survey, dryrot was predicted and rising damp was found.We spoke with Mark who agreed to go out and do a quote very quickly. He luckily gave us some good news on the work. On the day of him going out, gave us rough costs for the work to be done which seem very reasonable.Once we move in, we will be sure to go to Mark to get the work done (hopefully we can move in soon!!).Mark has been very responsive and helpful, thanks a lot.

Mark came at short notice to provide a Timber and Damp survey for a house we are hoping to purchase. Mark was very communicative and friendly. The report was thorough and helped with a positive outcome re: gaining mortgage approval. I would recommend Wessex Damp and Timber to others and will, undoubtedly, use the company again.

Really pleased with the professionalism and how easy it was to arrange the initial look around and then subsequent woodworm treatment I had done. Mark is a really decent person and was very pragmatic - exactly what I wanted, definitely recommend!

One word, flawless. Right from the initial visit and report for a new DPC and re-plastering, Mark and his team have been informative and courteous. His honesty and communication about what did and didn't need doing as well as the realistic timescales for completion were very much appreciated. The job requirements changed slightly after they started and he was happy to adapt with no extra charge. The quality of their workmanship is first rate and all for significantly less than some other estimates we were given. We can't reccomend him enough.

Mark got a quote out quickly for work on a very damp room at the end of the house. He did the job quickly and without fuss and was helpful and straightforward to deal with. The best thing to say about the quality of his tanking work is that it hasn't stopped raining since he came but the room is now bone dry!

Mark was very helpful at his initial visit for quotation, discussing the damp issues with me and identifying the genuine problem areas. I subsequently engaged Mark to do the work, and he carried it out very tidily and conscientiously, on the dates we mutually agreed. I am very pleased with all that's been done, and I would use Mark and his team again if ever the need arose.
