Peter did an amazing job repairing my bike. My bike broke 5 days before a big charity ride. He assured me it would be repaired before the day and it was. Kept me informed and dropped the bike back. Would totally recommend .

My ebike needed a new back wheel as the spokes were snapping. Took it to Stratford Bike repair and he not only sorted the wheel out, he set the gears up so they change seamlessly and made riding it (16,000ks on the clock) a real joy, again.ThanksAA

The quality of Pete’s bike service is second to none. He recently completed a service on my 13 year old road bike, and I was amazed at how well it rode - it was like it was brand new. Shifting and braking were crisp and sharp, and the whole bike was stiff and tight making it feel that much more efficient. It was a complete revelation. The bike also came back absolutely gleaming. He has been friendly, professional, and reasonably priced too.I quickly returned with my wife’s bike and my second bike for a service! I’ll definitely be coming back in the future.

Great communication from Pete. Easy to arrange drop off and collection. He has done a full service on my bike and also sorted out my son's brakes. All very easy and he clearly knows his stuff! Great to be able to hand the bike over and trust it will be sorted. He even kept hold of my son's bike for longer than planned with no bother as we were on holiday. Would definitely use again and recommend.

Pete is brilliant. The first bike Pete built for me was more than a dozen years ago, and he is still my first choice for builds and maintenance. He's knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He keeps you informed of progress, and always does an excellent job for a fair price. And to top it all off, he's a really nice guy. Five Stars

Switched over to use Peter after rave reviews from my bike mates- I can see why. All work was done quickly, expertly and really good advice on right parts and what really needed doing and what was a “nice to have”. This is rare as Peter is not part of a bike shop tasked with selling parts but truly independent and keeping cycling affordable.It’s really good dealing with Peter as he has serviced and prepped bikes for demanding and precise standards for National races, mountain biking and as a dad himself for young children. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Definitely a mechanic I can trust.Have taken my bike to Pete for many years with his excellent knowledge and skill set no job is too big or too small for both my MTB XC and road bike. Pete has gotten me out of a pickle many times when my mechanical skills have failed miserably and prepped & tuned my bikes for racing. With his experience over the years he has recently given me guidance on what components would work best for my new road custom build which I’m very much excited to see it built.
