It is not a hassle free option to sell your car and it is even uncomfortable to see how they are looking for every little cosmetic detail to reduce the price initial offered. The representative even pointed out at a 5 mm scratch on the bumper, give me a break, really on a 5 year car, what a surprise. You are better off selling privately or to the dealer and avoid being without a car in between.

Outstanding. Appointment was punctual. Valuation was carried out promptly and fairly. Jim is a straight talking northerner and as a fellow straight talking northerner he was easy to deal with. Some money knocked off for some wear and tear that I was aware of, but still higher than Motorway and dealer. Money arrived in my account when it should have done. Make sure you bring all the requested paperwork, spare key etc.

Great experience. I’ve used other branches before and the Basingstoke branch met the same high standards I had experienced elsewhere. Ridiculously simple to book your appointment then simply turn up with all your documents and sell your car in less than 30 minutes. Remember that the valuation you receive online may be higher than the one you are offered on the day after your vehicle has been inspected - just have a realistic expectation of what you will be offered if you decide to sell to We Buy Any Car.

Charlatans!!!!They don't really care about dents and knocks they offer you a lower price to increase their commission.Don't fall for it.All the cars get shipped off to the auctions anyway.Stand fast and they will eventually give you the right price.

Quoted £2770 online, went for appointment and chap (not professional) came up up with offer of £2140 for a pea sized dent, and a few scratches on the alloy which is to be expected for an 8yr old car. Asked to come back with V5, history, extra key and parcel shelf, and mentioned value would go up. Returned the next day with all the above including FSH and only having done approx 5 miles. The same chap then offered me £450 lower than yesterday's offer. He said it had gone down because of the 5 miles. What an absolute joke. Left in disgust and no way was I doing the we buy any car dance". Don't go unless your desperate!!"

Got less amount than the quote I received, however the local admin explained why the revised quote is less and did his best to complete the sale. Overall a very quick, easy experience.

Hit and miss, staff have always been good. Valuations can fluctuate massively and we have had different experiences with money every time. We did well with our connect van which was nothing special. But our two cars we have tried there the offers were certainly too low. I doubled what they offered in a part exchange. The Ferrari in the picture was apparently sold to them for around 60k

The process was very simple and straightforward and I am happy with the service. Online valuation was way more than the final offer due to condition of the bodywork. I was prepared for the offer to be lower than the online valuation but not less than half. I appreciate that the customer is probably not ‘qualified’ to make a professional assessment of the condition, but if during the online valuation process there was opportunity to add information about bodywork issues perhaps the online valuation would be more realistic.
