I've trained here most of my life (30+ years). You cannot get a more friendly welcoming place to train. The hardest step is to walk through the door for the first time & then you'll be addicted to the atmosphere.Beautiful facilities, Beautiful friendly people & the ULTIMATE world class coaches. I've trained in many gyms world wide but I ALWAYS come back the the AFC.

Amazing instructors and a warm family welcome. My daughter has not only gained confidence but concentration and creating new friendships. Fantastic techniques! a great way to learn kickboxing and MMA five stars guys!

My daughter has been coming to kids classes for 6 years.Staff are welcoming and friendly with positive reinforcement teaching techniques.Would definitely recommend as my daughter can now defend herself safely but has found a confidence she didn't have before. We both feel we are part of the AFC family now.

Last week, I had a kickboxing PT with John for the first time (I'm not from around here).Very quickly, he assessed what level I was at and adapted.Lots of focus on techniques, explaining (new) things. You can tell he's very experienced. He makes you feel confident about what you're doing, which is great.If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely come back!

Advanced Fighting Centre is an amazing place to train. John is a fantastic instructor with years of experience and knows what he is talking about when it comes to all aspects of martial arts. This is a great school with great people! Highly recommended.

“Went to a kick boxing class while visiting Newcastle for the weekend. Did know anyone but straight away I was welcomed into the class. Great team, John gave the perfect mix of technique and work out - paid good attention to individuals in bettering their technique and I learnt a lot. If I lived near I would go every week!”

AFC is a great for my kids to train, from the moment you walk you are greated with a happy welcoming environment with any advice and needs catered for and more. My children have built up special friendships with the instructors and the students they train with which I hope last for years.The training is aimed at all areas in martial arts to give my children confidence and the knowledge in how to cope with difficult situations they might come up against safely, also keeping them fit and focused on training they now love.
