I can only but praise the Fakenham branch of Abbotts. My experience began when Melanie called me back first thing on a Saturday morning to discuss some houses I had requested viewings online through their website. Sadly the houses I had requested to view were all sold but after finding out my requirements Melanie said she had another home which had come back on the market sale in the village. I had just accepted an offer for our house sale from her client too so it seemed like a good idea to look at the property.Melanie was spot on. The house was amazing and ticked every box and more. Melanie helped secure the deal and from there on was so helpful with both the purchase and selling process.Melanie and Shaye shared their experience and knowledge of local solicitors and put me in touch with a fantastic local solicitor who was not only thorough and time but also reasonably priced.I cannot thank Melanie enough, she is very personable and friendly with a great knowledge of the area. Melanie found my dream home and is an asset to estate agency.

We were so fortunate in meeting Nina Davis of the Fakenham branch....she instantly understood what we wanted to achieve....did a considerable amount of research...and despite fierce competition from two other agents (ours was multi-agency agreement with winner takes all)...her persistence and local knowledge made the difference...we cannot praise her enough and are so grateful...thats not to say that we found some of her colleagues less on the ball than Nina...but I guess that's a tall order to ask - so thank you Nina...we are sold and starting our new chapter in our new home (when its finished...lol).

Abbotts in Fakenham was able to help us find the perfect first home, that was within our budget and in the exact location we wanted. As first-time buyers, we did not really know where to start – so they referred us to Emily at Countrywide, who was able to find and get us a mortgage. She was absolutely brilliant and didn’t hesitate to answer any questions we had/or if there was anything we was unsure about.Once we found some houses that we liked, we spoke with Shaye on the phone who was able to book us in for some viewings within the same week. The viewings went well and found Shaye to be friendly and helpful – She also made sure that the viewings were COVID-19 secure and asked that we sanitised our hands, wore a mask and ensured that we kept our distance at all times. We also had a second viewing with Mel (as we needed to go and measure up for furniture) and found her to be friendly and polite.After finding the perfect home for us, we put an offer in and luckily for us, the offer was accepted! So, we could begin the steps to buying our first home. Once the house sale had completed, we popped into the branch to collect our keys, then went back home to celebrate!We will definitely be using Abbotts again in future, if we ever decide move houses and highly recommend using them to anyone wanting to buy/or sell a property.
