The Kings Head Country Hotel
Had a one night stay in late April 2023. Lovely village location and very quiet. Main reason for booking was the hotel is dog friendly. No issues with the dog and very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was amazing with good quality food and generous portions. Would recommend to anyone staying in North Norfolk and visiting local beaches which are amazing plus Sandringham is on the doorstep.

We saw this hotel advertised teas and thought we'd stop there on the way back from Brancaster. It turns out a tea has to be booked 24 hours in advance. Left and made other plans.

The Kings Head Country Hotel
We had booked four rooms for a family wedding nearby. Rooms were spacious, beds comfy, staff friendly and breakfasts good. However my elderly parents were in Room Four as this was only room with walk in shower, to get to this room you had two steps up, short landing and one step down there were NO grab rails at appropriate places nor in the shower which in this day and age I would expect.

Just had an exceptional Sunday lunch. We were sat down in the lounge area of the hotel bar to get drinks and look through the menu before being taken into the restaurant when our table was ready at the alloted time. Nice touch I thought. The ambiance was just as we anticipated for a country hotel. Our starters were great but the mains were exceptional. Yes a roast Sunday lunch is standard but the quality choice and amount of the fresh veg was a 10. Our roast meats and the sea food platter was really well prepared and presented. There was plenty of staff and I believe the owner was there ensuing high standards. For me the food stood out, and for our Sunday lunch a very reasonable price point. Thanks

Lovely room very friendly staff the only problem is the restaurant does not open on Monday evening so had to eat elsewhere which was a pain as you have to drive The breakfasts are absolutely fantastic so much choice whish I was staying longer to try some of the other combinations

4th vist in 2 years all staff very friendly and helpful great choice of breakfast and served efficientlyAll rooms clean and comfortable.When they find a chef for lunches and evening meals this will make it a complete package but there are plenty of pubs and restaurants in area so no problem.Thanks to Lisa and team for making us welcome and Comfortable.

The Kings Head Country Hotel
Had a lovely overnight stay. Bed was so comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities in room were excellent with biscuits. Didn't use the bar but we had breakfast before we left and the quality and service was great. Very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely stay again. A little out the way though.

The Kings Head Country Hotel
Supposed to been open, as i wanted to book an evening meal for 6 nights last, but apparently 'hotel' was open but all the chefs and waiting on staff were off ill,so no food being prepared!!!??? Wonder if the people who were staying there had food?? We found it so strange.So we had food at the wonderful little village cafe/stores opposite, and what a delightful welcome we received from the gentleman, highly recommend the village cafe/store.
