What a fantastic Veterinary practice to attend, went there yesterday 10th November with my cat Belle and I can safely say that everyone was so friendly,helpful and welcoming.Millies is warm bright ,airy and very welcoming practice well worth booking your loved family member in for a visit

James and his team looked after our Westie, Teddy in his final moments. Ted had become very ill very quickly and we needed to see a vet urgently. We had used another vets surgery in Sandbach previously and had been unhappy with their diagnosis and treatment plan despite several visits.We wanted a second opinion quickly and James had been highly recommended. We made a phone call early morning and James asked us to bring Teddy straight in to be examined. It was a seamless process when we needed it the most. He gained x-rays from the previous vets, watched videos we had taken of Teddy, asked good questions, examined Teddy and quickly established the problem giving us his diagnosis. The prognosis was very poor and James explained everything very thoroughly. Teddy was so very poorly nothing could really be done and we made the heartbreaking decision to have him put to sleep.James and his team made Teddy very comfortable and made sure that we were with him at the end. Every detail was taken care of .... a snuggly blanket, very calm environment, time to be with Teddy for us to say goodbye to him alone. It was peaceful and not rushed. We were offered the choice of a cremation or to take him home and we agreed the former with a little box for his ashes. The care and compassion we experienced that day was tremendous. Whilst we were emotional and sad the entire team took time to speak to us and check we were ok and chat a little about Teddy. The approach made the most difficult decision we have had to make a little less daunting.We were kept up to date with what was happening to Teddy and when he would be cremated and back with us. We were invited back to collect Teddy's ashes today and were greeted by James and the team. All the team checked how we were doing and James asked us to have a brief chat and ensured we were settled and at peace with our decision.James is professional and friendly and clearly cares greatly about your pet, but he cares about the humans too - he's just a lovely man. He has an exceptional basket-side manner and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a vet. He will be open and honest and give you the information you need to make the right and best decision for your beloved pet.When we decide to have another little furbaby in our lives I know we will register with Millie's Vets and be looked after by James. I only wish we had met him before as I know Teddy would have enjoyed going to see the team at Millie's.Thank you again for looking after our little family over the past couple of weeks.

James is a great vet. Always open to listen. He has even researched a medical condition for my dog that he had not seen before. Highly recommended from Maxi!

Simply fantastic, you take your poorly pet there, worried, and come away totally reassured. All the staff are so nice and friendly. Would highly recommend. Nothing is too much trouble.

We switched to Millie's Vets fairly quickly after we heard the patient list was open. I'm glad we did! James' care has been next level. He's extremely sensitive and understanding in his approach, and this level of care is apparent through the whole team.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Millie's Vets to anyone. And I know we'll continue to have fantastic treatment for our pets for the rest of their lives, and future additions too!

Fantastic newly equipped surgery. The staff make this a bearable experience for my two. . Couldn’t recommend them enough. G&M waiting for their annual vaccinations.

Called Millie’s after my cat Beryl seemed under the weather. They managed to see us straight away. James was absolutely brilliant. We are lucky to have this independent vets on our doorstep. Cannot praise them enough, Beryl says thanks too!!! 5*

Friendly and professional service, very calm and gentle with my dog, Oliver. Consultation wasn’t rushed, there was plenty of time to ask questions. Very reasonably priced. Really nice building in a great location. Very happy to have Dr. James Ede taking care of Oliver.

We changed to Millie’s vets a few months ago and we are so glad we did. Nothing is too much trouble for James and the team and having such a small vets really benefits me when I know I have problems consistently with one of our dogs. The team all work so hard and get back to you really quickly when you have a query, and couldn’t recommend them enough!

We joined Millie's Vets as soon as registration opened.Buffy deserved the best, and James's excellent reputation as a compassionate & skilled vet convinced us.Buffy has just completed a 4 week treatment of antibiotics and a small surgical procedure, seen weekly by the excellent Vet Liam. Liam talked with us not at us, discussed treatment options and drew diagrams to help us understand. He was so gentle with Buffy who is very wary and nervous in new settings.All staff are so welcoming, putting you at ease quickly. James has obviously surrounded himself with colleagues who reflect his professional excellence. I can't recommend this Veterinary Practice enough.
