My friend recently bought a whole variety of pasties and sweet pastries from them. I only tried the pasties and they were very good. Judging by how quickly everything went I would say their sweet pastries were also a big hit with our group. It looks like a well run clean bakery shop in old Hastings. I highly recommend trying their baked goods if you are in the area.

Popped in for a lunchtime pasty and chose a beef and chipotle pasty, delicious. Good heat from the chipotle. Great service from the chap behind the counter, he really knew his baked good. Also free samples on the counter to help with your decision.

Bought 3 cream teas, one of the scones was tiny, asked assistant to change it for a proper sized scone, she went off with bag and put same small scone back in bag. She was miserable aswell. Used this place numerous times, but you have now lost a customer. Disgraceful customer care.

Had a quick coffee and tea which were lovely. Watched as a fearless barista aided in the rescue of a ginormous bumblebee from inside the café. Excellent work, we will tell this story to our great grandchildren via tapestry. x

From the outset all looked good, we approached the store and started to select items to eat, then noticed a sign stating - no cash accepted…Now I have cards and options to pay, however I am sick of entering shops only to be told the money in my pocket has no value in stores or restaurants. Our shop with you would have been somewhere in the region £40 you will not receive a penny of my business all the time you do not value the money in my pocket.I’ve noted that in other complainants regarding this same issue with your store ( I’m not the only one) that you have made some pathetic reasoning about protecting your staff from £10 notes..Grow up and get a grip, if your staff are handling used cups, used dishes, discarded food etc - you don’t have an argument for handling cash, a little common sense goes a long way, might even earn you some extra business. Would have in this instance.

Wonderful little bakery nestled in the old town! Staff are lovely and very attentive, food is delicious and coffee tastes great. Good vegan options, I particularly like the veg pasty and the raspberry croissant. Like it more with every visit! A must go for people visiting Hastings.
