The young man does not know anything about cars. Tried telling me that the fuse wasn't connected to the central locking. After another garage did an investigation. Turns out the fuse is blown. Please don't let this guy talk to people about mechanical issues. Absolute moron. After seeing your reply. I am deeply disappointed that you've said this, on the phone you was telling me it can not be a fuse as the central locking is not connected to a fuse, when clearly it is and after telling you that none of the doors will lock your response was it can't be all the doors. Next time just say yes then look at the car don't make assumptions from sitting behind your desk. Very disappointed in your reply.

Well that was a pleasant experience, I lost my car on account of a drunk driver, saw a copy of what I`d lost on the SMT site but it was way up Country, spoke to Paul and explained I was going through insurance and waiting for a payout, Paul offered me to deposit £500.00 and they`d wait until my end was sorted, all went well, they reserved the car for me for a couple of weeks, I sourced the funds but then had the decision of how to collect the car, No problem, Ricky arranged transport and the car was dropped off at my door, Always a worry when you buy a car off the net without seeing it in the flesh, but no worries, car has exceeded my expectations, fully serviced and MOT`d on sale, SMT obviously hand pick the vehicles they sell, I cannot fault the help and service I received from Paul and Ricky, so pleased I happen to chance find SMT on the net, Beautiful car in stunning condition, thanks chaps, really appreciated 10/10 for service 10/10 for quality, One very happy motorist here :)

Recently purchased a used car from Ricky at SMT. The customer experience was first class. Having driven a long way to pick up the car. I was given time to have a drink before rushing into the transaction and test drive. Affording me all the time I needed. Ricky explained everything and made whole process easy and enjoyable. Shame they are so far away but would fully recommend SMT Automotive to anyone. I particularly liked all the references in the office to Customer service excellence . Definitely lived up to it.

Honest, reliable business. Good to deal with when buying a car, and when I had to use the 3 month free warranty which came with the car due to a faulty water pump SMT put this right with no problem at all.

I visited SMT back in August, looking for a new car to suit my familyI set my eyes on a BMW they had in stock and was offered to test drive it. I fell in love with it and on returning to the office, both Ricky and Sanjay answered my questions and made me feel at ease. I've been to many dealerships and have always felt like they just want the sale, but this was different. It was such a relaxed experience and they also had a great range of refreshments (always a winner).I put a deposit down, as I didn't think I'd be finding a car today and came back to collect it the following week.What shocked me on my return was that it had a decent valet, which I wasn't expecting, so thank you for this!I've been driving the car daily since and it always puts a smile on my faceThank you Ricky and Sanjay for making me feel welcome and for a brilliant car!I'll be back when I decide it's time to upgrade and I've already recommended you to friends and family

Purchased a vehicle a couple of weeks ago - fairly priced and in good condition. It was sold with brand new MOT (although old one was still valid) and FSH. I had not bought a used vehicle for a number of years, but Sanjay and Ricky made this a comfortable and stress free transaction. Highly recommended. Thank you.

I recently bought a car from SMT & can't fault them in any way. From the first visit to look at vehicles (tea & biscuits!) through the test drive & the purchase experience to the after-sales service, both Sanjay & Ricky were great, very knowledgeable & helpful. Not to mention their vehicles are excellent prices & fantastic condition. I'd highly recommend looking to them if you need to buy or exchange your vehicle.

Avoid at all costs, rogue traders.I bought an electric van in good faith from this dealer who advised me the battery would cover a range of min 50 to a maximum of 80 miles Unfortunately when fully charged it would only travel for 20/25 miles before the battery would completely die (battery at the end of its life ).I complained after a few weeks of purchasing the van but the dealer was trying at any cost to waste time delaying things and making our life extremely difficult to return the vehicle with an exorbitant quote of £ 300 when we were just 51 miles away and in reality we were quoted half the price when we purchased it to be delivered to our address.The van was returned to our expense and under the dealer's Ricky suggestion was booked into Renault, for a diagnosis test, we waited 3 weeks for this test to happen. The dealer sent us an email with a basic diagnosis result which did not indicate and address the problem and was not true specific ( ODB) test required to check the health of the battery but just a basic general diagnosis of the car which was not to be the case as the real problem was the battery, the incredible thing is that when me and my partner called Renault to find out the condition of the van they refused to answer our question because of data protection (understandable) but the van is still in our name and when we asked Ricky who took the van to Renault to authorise us to talk to Renault he refused, this is illegal and a total lack of transparency. Ricky advised us that the van should go to Renault for a diagnostic but at the same time he denied us to find out the results of the van battery health which is the problem.We are still within the 3-month warranty we delivered back the van in the same condition and we have been denied a refund we also asked the dealer to retain £500 and refund us the difference he still refused because he is well aware that the van battery is at the end of his life. Stay away from S.M.T. you will save money and an incredibke amount of stress that no one deserves and whilst I am dealing with an ill mother!We are taking legal action against this company which in my opinion should be struck off from trading.

I can find no fault with the service I have received. From the moment I stepped into the showroom I felt at ease. I was met by Sanjay, who was extremely helpful and friendly. No rush/pressure sell. From taking the vehicle for a test drive to collecting it 5 days later with a new MOT and service, Sanjay and Ricky sorted everything, which for me had been a stressful time as my previous car had been written off in a non fault accident. I would highly recommend!!
