Sarah Askey Massage

Usually I have been clumsy or broken myself in some way and I look to Sarah to fix me. Whether it was my shoulder or my back she has always resolved the issue and enabled me to return to my mountain biking. I try not to tell her where it hurts as she likes to press me there but she always knows! I cannot recommend her enough and will only use her. I’m beginning to think more regular appointments may help fend off some of my injuries!

Sarah is brilliant - she combines her knowledge as both a massage therapist and physiotherapist to solve the issue (life changer!) whilst also providing practical tips, such as exercises and stretches to implement into daily life to minimise future problems. I will definitely be using Sarah again in future and would highly recommend to all!

I went to Sarah with a knee injury which she correctly identified as being a meniscal tear. She recommended that I should have a proper diagnosis. She gave me exercises to do until I could be seen to and by the time I had my MRI scan, my knee had improved considerably, I'm sure thanks to these. I had a couple of massages to deal with a shoulder problem which were really thorough - and felt great (apart from the deep tissue massages which were a bit painful but did a necessary job!) Unfortunately my shoulder problem was too old to cure, but again, I was given exercises. I can thoroughly recommend Sarah as a massage therapist. She is very competent, knowledgeable and personable and will only give treatment when she thinks she can help an issue.

Sarah is an excellent massage practitioner, very familiar with muscular-skeletal system, as a former physiotherapist. Sarah puts you at ease and works in a lovely, bright, relaxing room. I can't recommend her enough!

I love Sarah's massages. She is a lovely, caring therapist who listens well to what you need. Her massages are wonderfully relaxing and really help to ease the aches and pains. I would certainly recommend Sarah to anyone who wants a throughly good massage that is curative as well relaxing.

Sarah has been amazing! I dislocated my elbow just over three years ago, and have hypermobility. Although I had recovered well from the injury, I did not have full range of movement and lacked stamina. This was affecting my back, shoulders and whole alignment. After the first appointment I noticed a significant difference. I have had a series of sessions and the progress is enormous - more than I thought possible. The results have been absolutely fantastic.As well as being skillful and knowledgeable, Sarah is just lovely. I feel relaxed, safe and comfortable in her care and trust her completely. Sarah is a specialist in her field. She has a very calm and welcoming approach that instantly makes you feel relaxed and is very knowledgeable, so you always leave feeling amazing. She has been giving me some superb sports massages that have prevented me from getting overuse injuries by keeping my muscles supple. I would highly recommend!
