Outstanding service from Steven at Arnold Clark Sighthill.I can’t thank him enough for helping me choose my new car especially when I wasn’t sure what I was looking for. I don’t know where to start with the disappointment...2 weeks waiting each time you need to book for service, doesn’t matter how critical the issue is. “The puncture on your tyre is fixed” they said.. Here on pictures how my Fiat 500 tyre looked like after 4 weeks from that “repair”, kindly replaced from a private garage that let me wait only one day and charged me £90. The tyre has swollen at the point of a risk of explosion!!Tried to phone them back but impossible to reach service department various time over the phone and my requests of call back totally ignored.. start to ask yourself why even other Arnold Clark branches in Edinburgh don’t recommend you!!

Are they interested in sales?My current car is due it's service soon, so I've been looking at the market to see what alternatives are out there when I saw that this place had some Citroen Ami's. I drove out there and saw the cars all out the front and had a walk around them but no one was outside so I went inside to enquire. Someone soon asked if I was looking for anything but as soon I said I was interested in the Ami it was like he was trying to get as far away from me as quickly as possible. Guess I'll have to go somewhere else for an EV.

UPDATED REVIEW March 2023Lori, after my original review (below) what’s even more off putting is the sellers insistence that the car I traded to you was ‘not ready to be sold’, ‘needed a lot of work before it could be on the forecourt’, ‘was most likely going to auction, the car will be put to auction’, ‘yeah it’s going to auction’ they said.And yet mere weeks later, Arnold Clarke upload pictures of the same car traded into them, for sale on their forecourt still WITH THE SAME UNFIXED DAMAGE you claimed brought the cars value down (See pictures for proof) Hypocrites, how can you tell a customer, ‘the car will need a lot of work to be ready’ and then give it a wash and put it straight out for sale (without repairing surface damage) at 117% more than you said it was worth (£4000 to £8500+).That is not customer service, that’s customer scandal. Others need to know. You’re not getting my business. DisgracefulORIGINAL REVIEW Feb 2023Not good I’m afraid.Had my car valued at £4000 for trade in.See it being resold on the lot for £8500…?The car had 4 surface scratches (1-2inches) & 3-4 scratches to the primer (1-2 inches). It had one small dent in a lower wheel arch 1inch x 1.5inch.These repairs are not worth £4500… they’re not worth £1000… more like £500-£700.This isn’t good salesmanship that’s greed and theft.Would not recommend. Will not be back. One word…Disgusting

Amazing service from Leon when buying my new car.Nothing was too much trouble and Leon went above and beyond for me. I had originally chose a car I liked but when I received the video of the walk around of the car I found out the windscreen was chipped.I emailed Leon about this and he sourced me a similar spec car for me to look at instead.It turns out that the new car Leon found me was the top spec when originally I was only looking at the mid range car, so I was more than happy with the new selection and bought it almost immediately.Leon sorted all the finance out for me and arranged for the car to be delivered closer to where I live. The car arrived and was ready in a week to pick up from time of purchase. I would've liked this delivery process to be quicker but that's my only small down side to my buying experience, everything else was perfect.I'll definitely be contacting Leon when it comes to getting my next new car.

Just wanted to say that the service we received from our salesman Colin Campbell was great. He is a great member of the Arnold Clark Team.Nothing was too much trouble made it very easy for me to buy my wife her dream car.There was no pressure no hard sale. Five star service.

I am updating my previous review , which I wrote just when i visited the branch , But now when i have purchased the car below is my review.When I first saw the car online , I called up to the branch to get more details of the car . I was delighted to hear everything about the car from Mr.Steven Nicolson, who gave me an in-depth idea about the car. He was eager to send me a personal video of the car , but I thought of visiting the branch from Glasgow to Edinburgh.He also helped me to understand the end to end process of purchasing a car. Since It was my first experience with Arnold Clark , Mr.Steven made it really helpful and easy to understand the process.When I booked my car , Mr.Steven took all the effort to update me about the condition of the car over the phone.When I visited the branch from Glasgow for inspection of the vehicle Mr.Ricky Stubberfiled welcomed me , as Mr.Steven was on weekly off .Mr.Ricky is such a humble and kind person, who being a General manager of the branch , spared ample amount of time with me ( even though it was closing time around 07:00 PM ) , he helped me to understand more about the process and allowed me to get the feel of the car. After that day till i got the delivery of the car, Mr.Steven was continuously updating me over phone and over email around 4 times a day about the progress of the car. Mr.Steven went a mile ahead to keep me posted about the progress of the car and helped me with all my questions and queries. The branch is so fantastic that they helped me to resolve one of the observations at the last MOT without any charge. I was able to get brand new tyres on the car and a brand new battery installed on the car as well.On the day of delivery the car was shining and in perfect condition. Mr.Steven took great efforts to help me with the documentation and also the car expert helped me with the test drive of the car.It was an awesome experience to have a car with Arnold Clark not only at a budget friendly rate but at peace of mind that the car is genuine.I would really like to appreciate all the hard work of Mr.Steven not only helping before the delivery of the car , but still following up with me over phone /email for any question/query I have with regards to the process or CAR. This is in true sense called customer satisfaction. I wish all the best luck to Mr.Steven and team.

Absolutely awful experience. One of the cars was priced at £17.5k when i entered the store. When i asked about the price I was told it was £20k but then I pointed that it was priced at £17.5k and that was confirmed. I had a look at the other cars and in the meantime the price of that car was removed and I was told it costs £20k now. When I said they are breaking the law they said the arent and that I can leave! staff were not interested in helping and when asked about models of the cars they referred me to their website.

We were visiting Scotland from the USA and wanted to be able to drive up and down the country at will. We picked up our rental car from Arnold Clark and were on our way. We were greeted with a clean car and an easy check in experience. We were even given a hybrid vehicle which saved us a ton of money on petrol. The car was very useful throughout our time and the return process was easy and quick.I would recommend this company to a tourist looking to help out a local car rental before choosing an enterprise/hertz.

I am absolutely overwhelmed with the service, care and aftercare from this branch. I travelled a long way to collect my car and would not hesitate to the the same again! I was shown outstanding care and consideration I was shown by Josh, Morgan, and the manager who’s name escapes me: even though I was buying a car that is probably around 20% of their average sale value- I felt incredibly confident and extremely well looked after.Having had a horrendous experience in the past with ‘dealers’ - Arnold Clark really know how to keep their reputation strong, and most importantly keep people safe and confident on the roadsThank you!
