Alice Through The Year

Alice's cooking classes are just a magical experience from start to finish! Set in a idyllic cottage in the most picturesque village , you couldn't ask for a better setting to start off your day! Alice Is homely, welcoming and as accommodating as you could wish for! My hen party christmas cooking class exceeded expectations and left our group feeling positive after an amazing weekend. With a mixed group of vegetarian to fussy meat eaters Alice come up with the perfect menu to suit us all. We all learnt so much from the class and I will definitely be making the food again! I highly recommend anyone to book a class with Alice, vegetarian, vegan, multicultural food, deserts, breads ... Alice will cater for all.

We booked on Alice's vegetarian mid-week meals class. Alice gave us lots of choice in advance about what we wanted to cook and was happy to be flexible to suit what we wanted to work on. She is a really knowledgeable cook - teaching us new techniques and giving us loads of simple hints and tips for improving meals, while also making it really fun! We had a fantastic time and will definitely book onto another class with her in the future.

We booked with Alice because we loved her website, the workshop was arranged for my husbands birthday and our adult children and partners were invited too.We had a fabulous, fun day and Alice was very kind and patient teaching us new recipes.The dishes were all delicious and we were able to eat the dishes we had cooked for lunch and Alice kindly boxed up the left overs for us to take home.I would recommend booking on one of Alice’s workshop, as it was great fun.

Alice is a wonderful chef and person. As soon as we came through her door we felt welcome and cozy. It was an absolute treat to cook with her. Amazing recipes that I‘ll never forget and many clever tipps and tricks. We had such a good time and the food at the end was so delicous, we could‘nt wait to cook it again. Alice is a fantastic teacher and has a great eye for detail! We were very inspired. I would recommend her courses to everyone and I will definitely come again. Thank you so much.

Brilliant cookery course with Alice. Booked for my husband's 40th birthday as an activity to do in the day, and it was SO good. Alice is lovely, super friendly, really knowledgeable with lots of tips - and we had loads in common, so it made for a really fun day. The food we cooked was delicious, and we will definitely be using these recipes at home to involve the kids too. Highly recommend, and hopefully will come again! Thanks so much again Alice.

I had a lovely day at one of Alice's workshops. Everything was wonderful - her beautiful home, the amazing recipes we got to cook and eat and the way that she taught and demonstrated different skills to us. I learnt so much! Would recommend everyone attends one (or several!). I can't wait to come to another one and learn more.

Absolutely incredible 10/10 experience. Alice was the most lovely host, very easy to chat to and filled with very useful knowledge. My partner and I both work shifts and wanted meals that worked around our hectic lives. I think it’s safe to say that’s what we got as the recipes given to us by Alice are now our regular favourites. The tips and tricks she shared were very useful and easily done by regular people (we definitely are not Gordon standard) and you get to keep the recipes and request more which is great. Would recommend to everyone. Thank you Alice.

I’ve had the pleasure of attending 2 of Alice’s in-person Christmas feasting workshops at her delightful Cotswolds cottage and also a number of online cookalongs. Alice is a talented and inspiring teacher and every time I attend a class I learn some great tips, tricks and culinary skills. Her recipes are full of flavour and she takes great care to match the difficulty of the recipes to her cooks’ skill levels. Could not recommend her highly enough.

I have never done something like this before but would 100% recommend it! I had such good fun and learnt a lot from Alice. She was so welcoming and friendly and the food was lovely!

The highlight of our trip to the Cotswolds! My friend and I spent a morning cooking with Alice and couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves more. We both love to cook and were excited by the Tangine chicken, orzo with feta and tomatoe, aubergine salad with pomegranate, roasted red onions, toasted almonds and fresh herbs, and a delicious spiced cauliflower soup, all presented in the warmth of Alice’s home kitchen. Alice is an excellent chef while presenting everything in a very down to earth and friendly manner in her lovely kitchen. We felt very welcome in her home and everything was delicious, right down to the tea break which was enjoyed with a spoonful of honey locally produced by her father. A thoroughly enjoyable 4 hours with many laughs and recipes that we will cook over and over again. Do yourself a favour and book in- you won’t regret it!
