Iceland presumably has a renovation recently. They added more fresh produces to their groceries. But I think the killer here is still the frozen section. They offer good value for frozen food which could turn into hot meals less than 15 minutes. I'm not sure about the health implications from eating these frozen food but I'm quite happy so far with the quality. The frozen chicken strips (Southern style) are a must if you happen to visit the shop

I am very sad and disappointed writing this review, about Ice land store Manager near canning town. Store Manager had told all the staff not to serve us and he is the owner of the store go away, can complaint to head office .He is being very rude and arrogant, just because he couldn't find the product we are looking. And got his anger on us as I wished Happy Christmas he rudely replied I do not celebrate Christmas.. I am a customer of this store from 2011 but never had this experience earlier. Was very discriminative to my wife as she is women. Being store Manage he should be helpful not discriminate to women and his position being used for verbal abuse to customers. It was just a matter of product issue being unavailable My wife only use word you guys don't know. And we been forced out

I have come into this Iceland no more than 5 times and every time I have come here the security guard has been extremely racist towards my friend. Always giving him a hard time and blocking his way whenever he’s leaving. Even when we come in and leave together he stops him immediately even though I’m holding (paid) groceries in my hands and his have been empty. I hope to god management sort this out because it’s disgusting that we are treated this way in our local supermarket and we won’t be coming back.

Always like going here, never too busy, staff friendly and helpful, although sometimes not many there. New self checkout systems taking place in all Iceland now. The one in Stratford is big and never very busy. The one in Upton Park is smaller and busy. Always get what I need. Buses home easy too.
