Hare Krishna temple in Granby Street near town hall and train station. Needs some renovation, but otherwise a lovely spiritual place to visit. Recommend Sunday afternoons..

I have visited this temple and lucky to attend ARATI in evening. This place give deep peace to your mind. The environment around is holy and peaceful. The way the ARATI goes on along with all participants. Fabulous. Person find mental solace and sanity after visiting this temple.The book shop is very nice and got one book from this shop towards memory of my visit.

This is a lovely building and the Hara Krishna people have made a lovely home and business out of it. When I visited this place and Watford I found it was well run like a capital business with people who didn't get paid in such but there was a structure of employee relations with some lower monks showing people walking the city centre with books to donate to people and if they wanted to give any change it was welcomed. This is a nice place for lost souls and I wish everyone luck here. Everyone needs a place to fit in.

Beautiful Hare Krishna Temple in the heart of Leicester. Warm, inviting and absolutely stunning deities. Even if you're not religious, the building itself is worth a visit.

Such a lovely ISKCON community. We travelled to Leicester for the Diwali festival and my wife wanted to visit this ISCKON temple. Everyone was so welcoming as if we had known them for a long time. Very spiritual place and dedicated community.Only wish we had more time to visit again. Next time we visit Leicester will plan some visits to this temple into our trip.

The place is really nice and energetic and has a bank converted into a temple. The washrooms are super clean.

A spiritual oasis at the heart of England. The Iskcon temple in the city centre of Leicester also has a spiritual education wing called the College of Vedic studies Leicester. Every Sunday Krishna club is held for children imparting spiritual education. There is Kirtan of the Hare Krishna mahamantra every Sunday and other festivals.Classes for the public are held every sunday from 3 pm and free prasadam is offered from 5 pm. The congregation is like a close knit family whose centre of atention is Sri Sri Radha Madhava. A lovely and a beautiful place to be in.
