Used Riverside for years and always find them extremely helpful. Vet we seen was very informative. Didn't feel rushed and showed genuine care for our pup. Well done Riverside Bathgate, keep it up!!

Had a really bad experience today at the reception .My dog was having really bad pain and the vet recommended medication for £24 however I saw the same medication online for £10 so I decided to order it online .However I made payment for the one that the vet gave me so I asked for a refund so I can order the one online. One of the receptionist started saying to me that I cannot get it without a prescription so I said yes I can.Then I asked for refund five times and she insisted that I cannot get it without a prescription and the dog needs it she even walked off on me while I was speaking to her .Eventually I was able to get a refund from the other receptionist .This situation was really bad I felt really horrible as I was being forced to buy something I could of bought online for cheaper without a prescription. I have been with this vet for more than six years never had a problem but there seem to be new staff at reception.However the vet herself was lovely and the other receptionist but the other one with colourful was being very rude and aggressive to me .

We left this practice almost a year ago and as soon as we went in Kim was right out from behind the desk to see little Lucy and ask how her leg was. Such lovely people and we'll never forget the help and attention we received anytime we had to take Lucy. If your looking for a vet look no further than Riverside Vets in Bathgate. Absolutely amazing team of vets and technical staff at all 3 of their branches. You can tell they love animals and always willing to accommodate them. Can't say enough good things about them. 5 star experience whenever we visit.

Recently I had to have my 18yr old pet cat put to sleep, she wasn’t registered with Riverside but they were so caring and helped her quickly go over the rainbow bridge, fast forward a week later and in the post I recived a handwritten thinking of you card ❤️it really is the personal touches very thoughtful

Aparently been taken over by a new owner , was paying for a pet plan" consultations were aparently included in this "plan" but I was charge 50 odd quid for this when the normal price is 47.50"

Lovely staff and they provide a great service.
