I attended the clinic for support with PTSD while doing EMDR therapy. The herbs and the acupuncture are massively helping, I had anxiety, panic attacks and woke up with really bad feelings in the mornings. The acupuncture has greatly reduced the feelings and helped me to feel better in my body.I would recommend this treatment for PTSD and the Doctor was really supportive and understanding, much more so than a western doctor.

Pain ReliefI highly recommend acupuncture from Dr Yu Jin. I had severe pain in the bridge of my left foot and toe joints that could not be precisely diagnosed and so I had to resort to over-the-counter anti-inflammatory and pain relief medication. I booked an appointment at the Chinese Acupuncture & Skin Clinic on Blackpool Road Clinic and completed a patient health check form. I was then assessed by Dr Yu Jin who assured me that a series of acupuncture treatments would not only treat the condition but also the bodies’ general wellness. I have been visiting Dr Yin for perimenopause symptoms. I was feeling quite desperate when I first started attending, as had endured two failed rounds of different hormone treatments which had very adverse effects on me. Dr Yin is treating me with both acupuncture and herbs. I am seeing many benefits. Less fatigued, better sleep, hot flashes gone, anxiety gone, mood improved vastly and less irritable. Still experiencing odd days of symptoms but it is at a much more manageable level. Where as before I was unable to function and could not attend work. Can't recommend Dr Yin highly enough.

After failed attempts of IUI fertility treatment Dr Yin helped us become pregnant through IVF. Acupuncture and herbal remedies were used to improve the quality of my eggs, cycle structure and preparation for implantation. Lots of people who have used acupuncture to increase fertility chances are convinced it made a positive difference and we feel the same! I can’t recommend Dr Yins experience and personal professional approach enough. The acupuncture also helps relive the tension of a stressful time while going through IVF.

I had been diagnosed with lower lumbar stenosis which was causing immense pain in my lower back and legs. I had been having issues with my back since Feb 23 which escalated in June 23 which led to stint in hospital and losing my ability to walk for more than a few minutes without my legs going completely numb. Surgery was the recommended option however being only 29 it was advised against and to allow 6 months to a year for recovery. Being on a heavy dose of multiple pain killers which weren’t really helping I decided to try acupuncture after reading the reviews. I didn’t have any expectations and wasn’t expecting any miracles but just wanted some sort of relief from the constant pain I was in. Talking through my symptoms and having an initial assessment DrYin informed me I would need a potential 5-6 sessions. 3 sessions later and i am able to walk without any numbness or pain in my legs. DrYin doesn’t use the traditional acupuncture needles, she has a range of modern needles (didn’t know they existed) to suit different requirements which have worked wonders. DrYin is extremely knowledgable and would 100% recommend her to anyone who has any sort of issues.

I highly recommend Dr Yu Jin. I was suffering from stress and anxiety, which were impacting on my blood pressure and sleep. Acupuncture has helped to calm me and make me feel in control again. My blood pressure and sleep patterns are much improved.

I have peripheral neuropathy in my lower legs and a side effect is severe cramp which usually happens during the night and wakens me up three to four nights a week.I have tried all the usual remedies for cramp without much success and thought I would try acupuncture.After three treatments I have now gone a full week without cramp and am very pleased with the results.
