Had an appointment today for my cat. When booking appointment I explained that he had a little fur loss and needed flea treatment as he had had the complaint 3 years earlier. Was in the consulting room 3 mins max . The vet ran a comb through his coat and said he needed flea treatment. That was fine. Buy when I went to pay my bill was 79 pounds. I feel this is extortionate to be charged this amount for flea treatment.

I wouldn’t bother they don’t care about your pets they just care about the money ..you would think that people become vets because they love animals an have a duty of care even if someone can’t afford the costs ..the worst vets in Macclesfield

Sarah has given my cat Badger so much love, care and attention over the past 12 months. He has been in a lot over the past year due to various issues and i cannot recommend her highly enough. She is a credit to the practice.

Cannot speak highly enough of the whole team at Bond Street. They are always kind, welcoming and reassuring. Whether you are there for booked appointments or emergencies they are 100% professional and still manage to make every visit personal. They never make you feel like just another client. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a vet in Macclesfield

Do not use these vets they are hopeless. Treated our dog incorrectly for nearly a week resulting in her having to have a major operation. When we complained the clinical director just protected himself and the other vets involved.

My gorgeous dog has been poorly and we have been unable to get to the bottom of it. Anyway she had a really difficult operation yesterday. I’m so grateful to Alex for his treatment. My girl is fine the next day. Eating and drinking as if nothing had happened. What stars, both Alex and my dog.

I first visited here for a puppy party which was great and the gentleman running it was very knowledgeable. He runs puppy parties at other vets too.My other visits with the actual vets were not so great. We took her in with a minor limp, I was told feeding my dog raw was ‘unsafe’ by the vet which was then followed by the statement ‘ how much do you feed her? I don’t really know anything about raw feeding’.We were shown details about feeding on a dog food sponsored chart - hills science diet (a poorly rated dog food)We were then told our dog needed ACL surgery to the tune of £2500.I left rather disappointed, we rested our dog and took steps to improve her joint supplements and she has been more than fine with no need for acl surgery. The leap to this diagnosis and the lack of knowledge on raw feeding left me rather annoyed and with the feeling it’s about the money. Our dog breed is not ideal for being put under so that risk alone should have instigated other means of dealing with a minor limp than surgery in my opinion.

I recently moved to Bond Street from another local surgery and my only regret is that I didn't move sooner. Being a first time dog owner, I have very little experience of vet surgeries however the difference between the previous one and Bond Street is day and night. The staff and Gary the vet in particular were wonderful, caring and kind. I am not a vet of course and so I was really grateful that Gary took the time to explain things to me and make sure I understood them. He treated my dog with such care after I told him that she was a little bit nervous. I was asked to be referred to a cardiologist and the referral came through in less than 48 hours. Really pleased so far and feel like my dog is in good hands - Thank you.

Our experience started well. The receptionist we initially spoke to was fabulous. However, upon our arrival at the vets are the actual vet we met was quite possibly the most condescending human I have had the misfortune to meet in a long time. Our experience kicked off with all of the terrible things that could most likely happen to our breed of dog. Very quickly. We had the free insurance pushed down our throats. Once I had filled in the four simple boxes, answering questions like name, telephone number, dogs name and how much the dog cost. The vet proceeded to check if I’d fill this information incorrectly.Being spoken to as if we were stupid continued all the way out to reception. The medicine our dog required needed to be given at 3.2 mL and just in case we were super thick. The vet proceeded to pull the syringe out and show us on the side of the syringe between the three and four exactly where the .2 Mark was.I couldn’t wait to leave it’s been a long time since I’ve been treated in such a condescending and patronising fashion.I can categorically say we will never visit this vet again.
