Fab food, delightful staff, very accommodating for a 3 generation family that includes a non-cheese eating vegetarian. That's as well as an 8 year old and a Gluten Free! They pleased everyone with delightful food at good prices. Superb!

Food was amazing. Not just great, but amazing. Staff and service to match. Special mention to Anita, who made us all feel right at home on our holiday. Would highly recommend this pub for a drink or a meal.

We had a superb Sunday roast and can't recommend this enough. The serving staff were really friendly and genuinely interested in making conversations with adults and children.The portion size was generous, and the cauliflower cheese and sweet potatoes were to die for. All meat was cooked to perfection, and my family enjoyed the beef pork and lamb on our outing.

Lovely place and really nice and friendly staff, Kathy and “ging” were really friendly and helpful. Great location for myself and lovely setting, if and when I next come back to island I’d stay again. Great room (number 4) has everything you need or want with an amazing shower!!

Very recently refurbished rooms; immaculate and high standards. Even better than the photos online. Excellent breakfast. Food very good with vegan options. Tasting menu highly recommended, but generous portions to pace yourself!

One of my favourite pubs on the island, lovely locally sourced foods and ales.Recently had a meal after completing a sponsored walk, I'm partially sighted and staff were extremely accommodating and polite to me.Ignore the negative reviews from the occasional grumpy arrogant second home owning grockles , this is a brilliant pub and well worth the price.Just make sure you book during peek season!Highly recommended!

Unfortunately one of our meals was overcooked and therefore inedible and had to go back. Also they advertise gluten free options but this involved trawling through a list of ingredients. It would be easier for a separate menu.

Excellent pub - we love coming here, the food and service is great and we love coming each year with the family to visit Santa too, it’s become a really special tradition we do as a family …. Highly recommend
