Food quality was good. Not sure of some of the flavour profiles (e.g. baby octopus in a heavy bolognaise-type sauce), but ultimately the food was of a high standard and pasta was fresh and home-made. Great atmosphere for a romantic or professional dinner setting with friendly staff and great cocktails. We stayed for over 2 hours enjoying the food, wine and cocktails.I recommend the carpaccio!

Fabulous authentic Italian food. Brilliant service and lovely staff. Not the cheapest but well worth it. Definitely going to revisit.

Really lovely atmosphere, food and service! Our entire party really enjoyed our meals and desserts. A little more expensive than some places but reflected in the quality (but £3.50 for soda water and a dash of blackcurrent seemed very steep...) Our booking slot was limited to 2 hours due to the busy weekend during Burghley Horse Trials, but we were comfortably in and out in about an hour and a half. However, had we wanted to linger a bit longer over drinks, it would have felt rushed.

Staff made us feel very welcomed, very attentive. Food was stunning. Very generous portions, full of flavour. Would recommend all Italian food lovers to eat here.

Fantastic food, went on a Saturday at 7pm and was full by 8.Staff attentive even though busy.Can not fault it .

If you're looking for a romantic evening out, Amore is the perfect spot. The bruschetta is a great way to start, and the Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli is a delicious main. The staff are lovely and the atmosphere is just right for a special night.
