SameSky Languages

I have been studying French with SameSky now since the initial Covid19 lockdown, all in Zoom sessions.I am happy to say that Andrew is an excellent teacher. In our classes we focus mainly on communication skills and using a mixture of media we cover current affairs, general interest, film, literature and much more. The result is this class is by far the most entertaining French class I have ever had.He always gives individual help and advice on how to improve and backs up all classes with additional material including teaching points and suggestions for further reading and resources.The class as part of the wider 'academy' has become quite a social unit as well and and we often meet up at our regular QUILTS (Quite Interesting Little Talks) originally facilitated by and sometimes led by Andrew, but as often by others.Being part of the SameSky family in these difficult times has been a real joy and helped enormously not just with my French but in keeping in touch with the world and helping my sanity.

A friendly and relaxed environment in which to continue with my French Language studies. Lessons are well constructed and presented.

I approached this class with mixed feelings, having been disappointed in the past. My concerns had disappeared after the first class. For me, the success of the class has been due to Andrew's teaching skills and personal attributes. The teaching methods are varied and fun. Andrew's enthusiasm, interest and kindness have made this an enjoyable, encouraging experience. Anybody wishing to learn a language, but unsure - give it a go. You will enjoy it.P. Harvey

Flying High with SameSky! Learning Spanish in 2020 has been a real highlight. Andrew brings the language to life, his lessons are animated, fun and interactive. His knowledge and passion for languages really shines through and are highly infectious. Since March, his lessons have gone on zoom which has really suited me, and the hour just flies past and are really enjoyable. I have learnt so much! He also has created a language community and free evening talks - QUILTS - 'quite interesting little talks' on a variety of different subjects - something for everyone!

I’ve been taking weekly group Spanish lessons for two years now. They are great fun and very flexible so there will always be a level to suit you and bring on your conversational Spanish. I’ve met some really lovely people and have improved so much!

I am really enjoying my French classes with SameSky, there is a good mix of exercises, which are well-tailored to the needs of the group.

A really good teacher who helped me understand English much more easily. I have wanted to learn better English but when I tried studying English before I always found it very difficult. That completely changed with Samesky. I had lessons online and in person and they were tailored especially for my IELTS test which I have now PASSED thanks to my lessons with Andrew!
