Location is amazing, 5 minute walk from the beach or 3 minutes to Albert road. Room was lovely and the bath size was just out of this world, however there are a few things that need to be done.. I would suggest tidying up some of the rough parts like new blinds in all rooms, patch up the paint work in places and maybe add an additional light in the bedroom as one light was not bright enough. Staff are friendly and very helpful, however we couldn't speak to anyone on departure as no one was manning the front desk (we just wanted to hand the keys back and the parking permit). Parking is good there are around 5 spaces on their driveway and they have 5 parking permits for street parking for as long as your stay but these do come on a first come first served basis. Breakfast was amazing, fresh and delicious. We would defiently come back without a doubt.

Really nice hotel. We stayed in the Glittering room. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The room was quite warm and we had to leave the window open over night but not really an issue. The breakfast the next day was really good, lots to choose from and set us up for the day... although my vegetarian one did say veggie sausages on the menu but I didn't get any. Staff very friendly. Car park is tiny but the receptionist was able to give us a permit for where we were parked.

Have to down grade this hotel because it isn't suitable for people with restricted mobility. Steps to enter, more steps to reach ground floor rooms and even more to get to the breakfast room in the basementThe receptionist, Miguel, was very helpful - carried our luggage and suggested places to dine.

We had a great stay. The room was nice. Very clean. Breakfast was very nice. We would come again.

Faultless hotel and location. 5 minutes walk from the busy Albert Road, free parking too if you're driving. Great breakfast, extremely clean and amazing rooms. The comfiest bed I have stayed in in a long time. Will definately return the next time I am working in Portsmouth.

What a lovely hotel, from the moment we arrived, the greeting was amazing. All the rooms are very well appointed, and the choices for breakfast means there is definitely something for everyone's taste. We will definitely be going back. Parking is either in front of the hotel or on the road, for which the hotel provides a free permit.

Excellent all round, friendly welcoming staff, comfortable well-appointed bedroom and bathroom, great (and generous) breakfast. Very convenient location for the seafront and also all the independent shops bars and restaurants on Albert Road.I visit Portsmouth often to visit friends and family, this will be my 'go to' hotel in the city from now on.

Great spot for getting around, nice walks near the water, nice welcoming and helpful team and happy atmosphere. Limited first come first served lit parking or residents parking in road (Hotel will give you a permit)
