Pitlochry of Scotland

Saw a top in the window and went in, discussing how much We liked it. Parked the buggy to look around, and realising the toddler was close to a display of cashmere we decided to move him, for the elderly shopgirl to make a loud comment about how expensive the cashmere is.As if we didn't know.For the shops I formation, we would have bought the top we wanted and some of the cashmere jumpers.But we left instead.Why is the high street suffering? Ask the elderly woman in this shop for her opinion.

I feel extremely annoyed to write this and slowly getting to realise what the elderly shopkeeper was doing to us. We randomly met another Indian family, that too someone who speaks our mother tongue and we just happy to be connected, as in these two years in Lincoln- it is the second tamil family I got to see. She kept intruding in between and so I quickly billed whatever I had and walked out to talk to them outside.Then after a while I returned to do a proper shopping and realized my parking time needs extending so took my phone out to extend the parking time by an hour through the app- and she was so intruding enough to come and keep asking me what am looking into my phone and even sneaked and looked into. And wherever we were she kept looking and I felt so insulted, and when we billed she was sarcastically rude as well. It’s so demeaning ! Why is that so ? Is t coz f the colour ? Is it coz we spoke a diff language ? It’s utterly humiliating. These are the things which frighten us coz we Get to see how alienated we are made to feel in reality however sweet coated people might talk. This is taking a toll on my mental health the way she treated us . I that’s not acceptable!
