I have just taken my 3 year old Maltese rescue dog Willow for her first groom to Pawfection. I was very apprehensive when I phoned to book an appointment, as she is a very nervous dog with numerous anxiety issues, but she was in desperate need of a trim. However when I spoke to Sue on the phone she was very reassuring so I felt confident to book an appointment. When I arrived Sue was amazing with Willow putting her completely at ease, she was so professional and completely dog focused. By the end of session Willow was pampered, clipped and even had a bow in her hair without showing any signs of anxiety at all. This woman is amazing and I am one very grateful proud mummy. We've just moved to the area and I brought my 12 year old Springer Spaniel for the first time. Absolutely over the moon! So pleased with the attention to detail, he looks amazing. When I went back to collect him he was just so relaxed I think he would have stayed there! We'll definitely be back.

Our 3 spaniels love going to see Sue for their pamper session . Sue really listens to what I want and I've never been disappointed . Sue is lovely and very patient with the dogs and it shows with how the dogs react when they see her ....tails wagging and can't wait to get in the bath . We have been taking our border collie here almost since sue started, always friendly caring about her clients both two & four legged. Our dog had been badly cut by a PREVIOUS groomer and sue was able to cut and groom pepper to the way the name suggests pefection.Pepper always comes back to us looking very pretty and immaculate. I would recommend pawfection dog groomers to anyone regardless of breed or size they will always be treated like royalty.

AWFUL experience here for our dogs first grooming. When we initially enquired about a booking we were informed that our dogs first appointment would involve a wash, nail clipping and trim round the eyes. The appointment was scheduled for 60 minutes at £25.00. Due to covid we weren't allowed to stay during the cut (which is understandable). However when we collected the dog we barely recognised it due to how much he had been cut. At no point did we get consulted about the amount of length that was taken off. The price changed from £25 to £30 due to the additional service they decided to do during the appointment. At no point did they try to contact us and explain that they would be taking more hair off than what we initially agreed. When we complained, they told us that they had to take this length off due to hair matting. However we have spoken to other dog groomers who have said that the length taken from the dog was way in excess and the fact that this was not discussed with us first is appalling.Completely refused our request of a refund or a fee deduction. Instead the owner said I'll see you in court..." Shocking customer service and an all round awful experience delivered with an attitude of somebody who sounds like they've used that line before."

Sue and Kim give Rufus, my Old English Sheepdog 5*, 1st class, pampering. He adores his visits and is always excited to see them. The work that is put into his grooming is fabulous and he always comes away looking fabulous. He gets great compliments from strangers when he's out being walked. Thanks girls xx love Rufus xxxx
