Beware. £30 authorisation charge on your card before charging. My 1st attempt at plugging in didn't connect with the machine. So I had to tap my card and start again. 2x £30 have been taken from my bank account for a £15 charge. Awaiting refund and response from Instavolt......

Station one not working. Rung up and couldn't be reset straight away. Then charger 2 used, but didn't take either credit or debit card I had! Good job I had the app....but that still took a good minute to connect.

Two Fast chargers available, they looked brand new and are easily located on the McDonald's car park. Able to accept all contactless cards including Amex, pay via the instavolt app or using the instavolt charge card.Using the app shows real time if the charger is in operation or not so you can check before you divert from your route if low on charge.Instavolt are by far the best EV charging provider in my opinion way ahead of Shell and BP.

There is no option to stop charging before battery is fully charged.No doubt very fast..

Fast charging but although it states can stop charge by tapping card again this didn’t work and I had to stay for the duration.

Neither Charger at the site was responding to credit cards or via app but a quick call to Alison at InstaVolt HQ and she started the charge remotely and got me back on the road. Great service turning an initial grumble into a positive experience. Thanks Alison :-)

This was the first time I fully charged my car at a fast charger. All went well I grabbed a quick meal deal and 50 mins later the car was fully charged. Thanks Instavolt for a seamless experience and Macdonalds for the meal.
