We popped by this pub whilst on a walk from Lewes and back and had some fantastic Jamaican food. The squash and mushroom creole was superb and the chicken and spinach curry had the perfect spice mix. Service was brilliant. We would 100% return.

Excellent pub doing a fantastic normal Sunday roast and pub food with a Jamaican touch. Really tasty dishes and worth a visit for a different meal. The Jamaican jerk chicken roast is amazing, had an incredible Jamaican beef stew and the goat curry is great. Loved it.

Stayed here in Sept for a wedding locally, booked last minute and what a find! Lovely rooms, comfy, cosy and absolutely incredible food in the pub, run by a lovely family. Thank you so much for our stay.

Lovely dog friendly pub with delicious and very tasty food. Individual large water bowl was given for the dog, and doggy treats. Friendly and hospitable hosts

Have passed by here for years and not found time to stop. Made time today and had an amazing birthday meal. Curry goat was amazing, my wife's pork chop was enormous, tender and beautifully cooked. My son's steak gorgeous and apparently the cheeseburger was the best my daughter has ever had. Fantastic staff too, so friendly and happy to answer any queries. Great local beers too. Great to see a small local place so busy

Stopped in at short notice for lunch on Sunday - veggie nut roast, reggae roast chicken, kids cheeseburger and a fish and chips... all great and reasonably priced. A real gem.

Stayed at the Blacksmiths Arms last weekend and it was excellent. Local real ale at the bar, freshly made Jamaican food that was delicious. The room was clean, comfortable with a good en suite bathroom. Parking around the back of the pub. Super views of the local countryside from across the road.

Great little pub...although you could miss it in a blink, as its situated on a bend on the A275. ....lovely guy called Jazz was in charge for the evening...room was very good..comfortable bed, and bathroom was sizable...Jamaican menu was very tasty...including the goat curry! and the bill was very reasonable indeed,...would visit again. ..recommend.

I had a fantastic 3 nights stay here - tried the pork curry first night,Sunday roast(lamb) & both were absolutely delicious - I highly recommend you stay here or visit for the amazing food - Thanks Jazz!!!
