The facilities and scene is rather lovely. However, the “bouncers” were rather controlling and forceful given the circumstance. I was indeed tipsy however where were fine with the concept of unsavoury individuals to make threats upon my life. Apparently this this violent behaviour is fully accepted by the “bouncers” at pop world and left a fun experience tainted. I’d recommend visiting any other club if your looking for fun and safety, they clearly care for neither.

Not often that I can say this these days but the bouncers here were refreshingly excellent on Saturday night. They accused my friend of being involved in a fight and told him to leave. We asked them to double check as he had many witnesses saying he wasn't involved. They checked the CCTV and said they misidentified him and let us get on with our night.Special mention to Bouncer Ryan who first approached us and then stayed with us while they were checking the footage, he was very diplomatic in the way he originally asked us to leave and chatted and joked with us while we were waiting.Otherwise, music was decent and drinks are reasonable price.

Came to derby to visit a friend and they recommended pop world as a night out, had a stunning night, music was great and drinks were plenty and cheap! The girl called Charlie I believe was great to talk to and helped us have a great evening! Must try!

First time here and I loved it! The music and atmosphere is fantastic, with a good mix of ages. The outdoor area has loads of room and seating.The staff are friendly and there’s a lot of security on the door and inside which is reassuring for all to just have a great time!

Unfortunately I have visited on wrong day ..Only teenagers are there that time felt a big old to be honest .Music was an average pub club music cant mention anything special.

Went there with my daughters hen party. Expected an older age group but was full of youngsters who couldn't hold their drink. My older daughter even had a bottle thrown at her because she refused someone's advances. This was when we decided it definitely wasn't the place for us.
