Our go-to chippy. Friendly staff and great food. Parking can be a pain, but you can park in the Bowling Alley/Industrial Unit car park, more or less opposite. Prices have gone up a bit, recently, but that's par for teh course these days. Would recommend.

29th May 2019 food hygiene rafing ZERO. Major problem here with supply and cleanliness, even management. Food leaves a lot to be desired. Left for another chippy, did not take a chance here

Went to what was my favourite chippy last night, purchased a mini fish special, unfortunately it went in the bin! When I opened the box, fish and sausage looked as though they were left over from lunch time and the chips were raw, I would have taken it back but they closed after I purchased my meal, due to the hot weather, can’t blame them for that. My thoughts are that the shop has changed ownership as I had not seen the people serving before.

Good chips always freshly cooked and red hot, but the fish batter is sometimes quite greasy. Ask for the onion rings as well, whole onion thickly sliced and deep fried.
