Hersham Launderette

Easily the best place around. I take shirts in large quantities and they are always well cleaned, ironed and back in good time. They also send a text confirming collection is ready, which is really helpful. Strongly recommend.

Wonderful and friendly family run launderette.Used the pick up and drop off service, they respond to text super quickly and return laundry as quick as they can - sometimes same day. Has made our lives much easier :) Julia

Having used this launderette now for 1 year, since moving to Hersham. I can only say I would highly recommend. Family business, first class, timely service, highly professional, both in the washing & ironing. Very friendly, courteous & polite. Will also call to advise laundry ready for pick up. Would not go anywhere else.

Honestly best launderette I’ve ever used and amazing dry cleaners! It’s a lovely family business and they go above and beyond to help! I use them weekly for shirts but they’ve also made miracles with stained dresses that other places couldn’t sort out!!

Used this laundrette for years with no problems. A week or so ago I brought some towels to dry quite late in the day. As I was taking them out I noticed they were covered in ink. I called the manager whose husband came in and looked at the machine and said he could find no ink in the machine. Well my towels had absorbed it by then. I was advised to rewash but asked them to wash and dry as there was definitely no ink when they came in. I showed the clean bag I brought them in. He agreed. I made it perfectly clear I hadn’t done this myself and knowing me for years and knowing I’ve got a mum at home who I care for and who is currently recovering from cancer surgery I have more to do with my time than make this up.I collected them yesterday and not all the ink has come out. I was advised to keep washing them. When I asked about a very reasonable monetary compensation of £30-30 for the washing, money I’d lost on drying £6 and potential of replacing damaged towels I was told this would not happen as they wouldn’t accept responsibility for any damage outside of them being there.So we have damaged towels. I am £6 out of pocket and will spend God knows how much on washing and drying them again.So beware any damage incurred by no fault of your own to your items will be palmed off.They are happy to lose long-standing customers rather than offer any kind of reasonable discussion even though they admit damage can be done whilst they aren’t there.

What more do you want from a launderette? - helpful staff, reliable machines and great speedy service washes. All at very reasonable prices. I've been using them for five years and never had a problem
