Mr El-Husseiny's post surgical follow up was great, he laid out a number of steps required to evaluate the success of the procedure and explained the objectives of each of these and possible outcomes.These steps were implemented effectively and with sensitive consideration to personal time commitments I had. The follow up consult pulled the results of the scans, blood tests and other analysis that was performed into succinct and readily understandable status of my heath. We discussed all the implications of this health status for me and agreed the follow up plans/schedule.I would highly recommend Mr El-Husseiny.

Mr El-Husseiny is a very knowledgeable urologist, and treats patients with the utmost care and professionalism. His questions were targeted, and he could pre-empt the symptoms I went through, which meant that his diagnosis was spot on. His explanation of the condition and treatment were straightforward and comforting. And his team are equally pleasant and efficient. All results are available on the patient access system for ease of reference. All in all, a great experience (and no we are not related, so there is no bias)!

Dr El Husseiny is absolutely incredible! He provided me with the most excellent care for the removal of a large staghorn kidney stone via PCNL. He is extremely scientific and evidence based and clearly an amazingly skilled surgeon who performed this operation expertly. He also has a special gift of balancing this skill with being a very caring, kind, and empathetic person. I was very anxious before the procedure but his calm, competent, confident nature really put me and my family at ease and we felt comfortable knowing I was in the best possible hands for this surgery. In our consultations, he was swift and accurate with his diagnosis and really went above and beyond to show how much he cares about his patients. I can only imagine he has a huge patient load but I always felt like his sole focus, as he patiently and clearly answered every single question I had. Dr El Husseiny and his wonderful PA Rosie are also an extremely efficient team who managed to get me booked in for the procedure and all appointments swiftly, which is appreciated when there are so many pre- and post-op administrative tasks. My symptoms are already feeling so much better after the surgery and I barely even have a visible scar, so my only regret is not finding him sooner. Thank you so much Dr El Husseiny!

Unfortunately, my experience with this consultant was a nightmare. After a very cursory meeting for kidney stone extraction I had the op at Charing Cross. He barely knew who I was and in 30 seconds told me “it went well” and sent me home.After passing much blood when “trying” to urinate I was totally blocked. The next day my GP explained I had blood clots and was rushed to the A&E at CC. I was put in the ward for 5 days as they tried to remove the clots. Dr Hussani could not be bothered to see me or apologise for not explaining the risks with clots.On release from CC I had to wear a catheter for six weeks and self catherize for another two months. My urination has never been the same.I would refuse any treatment from this man.

After a traumatic experience with kidney stone surgery on the NHS in 2016, my husband was at a loss as to what to do when he began having kidney stone pain again this year. I carefully researched private urologist consultants and thankfully found Mr El-Husseiny. He took the time to explain the diagnosis in detail, and working with his PA to set up the procedure was a dream! The surgery was complex but Paul and I felt confident that he was in safe hands with Mr El-Husseiny and the team at Princess Grace Hospital. I am more than satisfied with my treatment with Dr. El-Husseiny. I am very grateful for his compassion and understanding of my past history of problems.
