Stratford Village Dental Practice

I booked a teeth cleaning here as I have an upcoming trip, well I should have just waited for my usual dentist!The most awful, embarrassing and degrading service but also very costy considering the poor service.I have arrived and the receptionist invited me to fill up a form and to take a seat, shortly after I hear my name from another room. I looked at the receptionist who pointed me saying “he’s calling you”.I was already shocked, why would someone yell my name instead then just come to the waiting area to take his own client?But okay…I get up and try to understand where to go, I eventually ended up in the room.The hygienist asks to place the form and my jacket on the working table, he doesn’t even read my form and proceeds to ask few relevant questions.He then proceeds to invite me to lie down and gives me a pair of protective glasses which, were stained with make up.That made extremely uncomfortable and did not want to proceed with the treatment anymore for poor hygienic conditions. I asked him to wipe it and he only cleaned the lenses, I then had to ask for a wipe and cleaned it myself. AWFUL.I then lie down and on the ceiling there were cobwebs. Imagine being with your mouth open, in a place where a cobweb could fall on you. A DENTIST!He began saying how awful my teeth are, my gums are inflamed, I don’t brush my teeth properly and made me extremely uncomfortable but he was done in only 25 minutes!The treatment normally lasts 45 to 60 mins treatment, he was done in 25 MINUTES! AWFUL.I couldn’t wait to leave, but he then kept going on how bad my teeth were making me feel even worse.On my way out he pointed the form saying “bring it back to the reception”. The form was on the exact same place where I LEFT it, and I HAD to bring it back. I really wanted to say something but I had tears in my eyes and I cried as soon as I left the place, I regretted this so much and I should have never booked this here!Paid £65 for a service that ended in 25 minutes, made me cry and didn’t even achieve what I wanted. I have been at this practice for a long time now and have always found the staff to be attentive professional and friendly. I recently had root treatment which went well and also had follow up phone calls for my well being. Well done to all the staff keep up the good work.Thank you.

Terrible service, I made an appointment at 4:00pm, and I was in line at 4:50 pm. An x-ray was £68, and a tooth extraction was £197. I said it was too expensive. Can I get x-ray picture, The front desk said it will be sent to me tomorrow at the latest. I haven't received it for 4 days. To be a doctor, you must have medical ethics. If you have 0 points, I can give you 0 points.

I had my Invisalign treatment completed here with Dr Shah, and unfortunately had the worst experience from start to finish.The treatment took longer than advised, the Dentist had no idea what he was doing throughout the process, he often pulled my jaw open so far that I was in pain on consequent days following visits.Often within 10minutes of leaving the surgery the buttons that connected the aligners to my teeth would fall out, meaning I would have to again take time out of work to attend additional appointments.On Several occasions I had to point out that my teeth were not straight at the time he wished to discharge services and on one occasion the dentist forgot he had to provide more aligners and could not locate where he had placed them.I have now wasted nearly £2000 and wasted over 18month's of my time completing a straight forward procedure as my teeth have reverted back within just one month.The dentist has not used genuine Invisalign retainers following treatment, which makes no sense after having a course of Invisalign treatment. He did not think it was necessary to follow the Invisalign after care procedure's but has charged me Invisalign prices.The professionalism and punctuality of the staff here is diabolical the dentist would often stroll into work 20 minutes late for his first appointment and the practice manager seemed to think that this was not too bad for time, however if you are running a few minute's late they are quick to call and harass you. the staff seem a little delusional about what good customer service entails and I have complained about this on many occasions.The accessibility of this organisation is outdated, I do not think this should be legal as a heavily pregnant woman, with a a knee injury travelling up/down two flights of stairs, with no lift availability and using toilets that do not meet Doc M requirements is shocking in this day and age especially for a health based organisation.It's clear that this practice has little regard for patient care and patient experience and more regard for financial gain.I had grown up at this practice and returned following uni but changes in staff and management have left it in a shambolic condition.Please avoid this place, even a staff member who worked at this practice advised me to seek alternative dentists.I will also raise my concerns further.

Dr Roma has been very kind with me especially when I go to have my teeth taken out as I’m v scared of injections. I dnt even feel her hand, I would say she’s a very good dentist, even all the receptionist they’ve been v Supportive. I wish you all good luck for future, Thank you.

Absolutely diabolical practice. Had an appointment got the address mixed up as I didnt get a confirmation text with postcode, ended up Stratford village E20.Was first appointment, phoned and apologised and tried make way there. Got told wouldnt be seen and I would get call back to rearrange. I didnt , so i called back myself this morning to be told company policy" if i miss 1st appointment I cant be rebooked but can pay 69£ to be seen

I didn't know Google was an official chanel to identify a patient while anyone with a random email address (and not the one registered with your practise) could write on my behalf. I have been bullied, discriminated and scamed by your practise while putting my health in danger. My next appointment was canceled and I have been removed from the patient list without being informed(And without the legal notice and right to complete my care) and I have just found out that the doctor doesn't want to speak with me because I left one star review".As we are not in a dictatorship I am free to complain and protect NHS resource paid by taxpayers and as you have nothing to hide you can prove to GDC that you are fit to practise and that you are respecting the law and ethics or not."
