The whole team were amazing for our retirement event. Extremely helpful and professional when planning and booking. On the night, Lynsay was very helpful and approachable and she and all the staff made sure all the guests had a lovely time. The buffet was really good quality and all hot food came out hot.

Had to wait for more than an hour for food to arrive. There weren't even too many people to have to wait so long. Arrived at 1.45pm for lunch. Nearly 3 o'clock before we ate. I had a lovely chicken/ mushroom pie but unfortunately the mash & veg were just warm.

Was poor customer service today as one of our group has a fish allergy and was not treated with respect by the shift manager who was in fact quite rude. She had to speak to a chef manager to get any sort of help.Another member of our group had next to no fish in the batter and a third member of the 5 of us found the pasta too peppery and it was exchanged for a cheeseburger which was cold with the cheese unmelted.Adjustments were made to the bill but I feel this needs to be investigated. The chef manager did try his best to sort the situation.Others customers were also disappointed with their meals, not a good situation leading up to Christmas

Booked a table for 12. Arrived for my booking. My table was unavailable due to staff reserving a table for 2. Was found a table but could only have it till the band arrived then had to move. Food service was very slow. Drink too forever even use if the app or gone up the bar it was very slow serve.

In my childhood, parents' friends lived near this pub and just the other day I finally went in.Rear parking, friendly staff, good selection of drinks & snacks and clearly popular for its food... will defo return for lunch in the lovely garden or dinner in the cosy indoors. This seems like a real asset and certainly worth a detour to take in.

The service is slow and scarce, it’s a Saturday, so maybe they’ve hangovers. The cheese and bacon burger is dry and the sweet potato fries are stuck together and over fried. My mother’s chicken could not be seen under the cheese (hunters chicken) and is tepid. My wife’s steak, supposedly medium rare, was nuked, and the pepper sauce was tasteless; that was sent back and the replacement was blue and inedible, cold. The manager was called to the table. After ten minutes she arrived and seemed quite used to the problem and offered a refund for the whole meal. Not somewhere I would recommend to anyone to have a lunch on Saturday. There was no lime or lemon to be offered with Corona ( none behind the bar apparently). Kitchen staff popping in and out to the bar, eating and drinking not very good standard.

Ambience 4/5Food 2/5I wanna start by highlighting the place looks really good. And that sets a high expectation on the food. The menu looks good. But unfortunately the food itself isn't very good .. The roast had a small steak, 3 pieces .. Lacked seasoning or marination I'd guess.I'd probably not have the roast again. But loved the high table ... Very comfy.Really do hope the food improves .. Good luck.

Half of your food was out of stock, all of our food came out at different times, took over an hour for my brothers food to come out. The staff refused to give my two nephews there ice cream that comes with there kids meals, Then asks for the receipt because she doesn’t believe we ordered it, then when we tried to pay and there was loads of other drinks on there that they tried to make us pay for, then after an hour of telling them that that they was not our drinks and we will not pay for them, they finally checked and realised all the drinks where meant to be on another table. And lastly hygiene, one of your bartenders sneezed into her hand then picked her nose, after that she poured our drinks! And your over bartender had an awful smell, not to be rude but she came over and served us and had awful breath and B.O, she also itched her new scabby tattoo peeling off the dead skin whilst talking to us. Was the worst time we have ever been there!
