Chopstix - Croydon

The people and atmosphere are not bad but the food is terrible. Not nice at all. It's like a bad all you can eat without the all you can eat. I would not return or recommend this place not for the £10 you paying for this meal. It looks nice but believe me it does not taste good

Rubbish and tasteless. Chicken is rubbery, too expensive for what it is. Also the woman is so rude in here so even if the food improved unless she is fired I won’t ever be going back.

When I saw a branch of chopstix opening in Croydon, I was very pleased as we had been regulars at the Sutton branch and loved the food there. Unfortunately, and to my utter disappointment, all this branch has is an attractive space in a good location. Once inside, I was stuck by the size of their boxes. For a little over £7, you get a box smaller than the palm of your hand. I gave them the benefit of doubt and thought the food quality would at least be at par with what I have had in another branch. To my dismay, it was anything but that! Rice was tasteless, Thai curry looked and tasted nowhere close to a Thai curry and the beloved salt and pepper chicken was a few chunks of burnt, inedible chicken pieces. With the daylight robbery with this kind of food, staff act and dish out food in the boxes as if they are giving you gold and are stingy. Either they care enough to save you from eating too much of the food they serve or have never tasted their own food. This is a blight on the brand name and I'm not going back ever again even if I'm starving.

Great fast food alternative to Macdonald. Probably high in sugar like a Macdonal meal but made freshly onsight right in front of you.The kids eat it and it does not break the bank! What more to ask when out and about shopping with little ones. The decor is refreshingly Asian looking too. I personally did not like the music but the place looks clean.This is mostly for meat eater I guess since there is a rather large selection of chicken however they do have vegetable spring rolls and pumpkin curry. Their noodles are really delicious, according to the kids.

This is new on the high street, they are halal and only take contact less payment. Staff are friendly. The seating is tight. The prices are not clearly written. The food is soggy and bland. Too expensive for what it is. Selection is boring too. Would not recommend.

Had a lovely time at Chopstix. The kind lady who served me was enthusiastic, sweet, and very thoughtful. The food and all the flavours tasted great. I look forward to coming there again to make use of the offers available (i.e free spring rolls when you download the app as well as a free birthday box that you have to make use of within 7 days of your birthday!).

Looked promising with long queues.Unfortunately their Katsu Curry didn't make the cut with chicken nuggets used instead of chicken breast. The salt and pepper chicken was tasteless.Chozen Noodle is a million times better.Sorry I won't be going back here again....
