The Gym Group Barrow in Furness

I have been with Barrow gym for last 7 months. It's an amazingly convenient gym for me as it offers 24 hour service as I am health care worker who has a very busy life. Obviously, this is one of the place where I de-stress and rejuvenate myself. I must appreciate the facilities and the friendly staff who make this place special for me. If I speak about the transformation I achieved, I have nothing to tell other than I am extremely confident about myself"."

Love this gym! Super friendly staff that are always willing to help! Great range of equipment and it's always clean. Been a member of a few gyms in the area but this is is definitely the best by far!

The gym allows me to check when it is quieter by using the App. I love this as I can feel self conscious with too many people in the gym. The music is motivational and encouraging. The gym is clean, bright and available at a great monthly price, making it extremely budget friendly. Showers and facilities available and anyone with a disability can be catered for as there is ease of entry and a lift to the 1st floor

Happy and supportive staff on each visit at the gym. All so helpful and approachable. Plenty of good machines. I felt content leaving and like I got a very successful training session in when leaving. I would recommend this gym very much. Access at any times is an added bonus to my working schedules.

I am Chair of a local charity working to improve the physical and mental health of the guys we work with. The Gym Group in Barrow have been extremely helpful and flexible in working with us and have made a real difference to a number of lives. We are very grateful for their interest and compassion and would recommend them and their staff very highly.

Based on my true experience, I used to enjoy this gym in Barrow in Furness with my mates we used to all come to the gym but lately in the last year it's become not a nice place because so many illegal immigrants taking up the space. This is unfair on the community. All they do is stare at other people make others uncomfortable they keep taking pictures which is our privacy this should stop. Shame a 247 gym is turned out to accommodate so many illegal immigrants to use the gym.

On behalf of Lynne CooperChris was a manager of my local gym i and many other members had a lot of respect for Chris and we were gutted when we heard he was moving on to be a manager in Barrow.Chris was the perfect manager he was smart, welcoming, friendly, helpful, and organised and very efficient in trying to improve the gym forward and an excellent spin instructor.Chris never asked his staff to do anything he would not do himself. He added touches to the changing rooms to make them more pleasant and hygienic. He also spent time on the outside appearance in his own time saving the club money. Chris involved members asking them what would they like him to improve and what equipment would they like.

Trained at The Gym Group in Wolverhampton, Manchester and now The Gym Group Barrow-in-Furness and have not been disappointed Ever. I train here about 5-6 times a week. The workouts are fun, the fellow members are inspiring, the workouts are led by a team of Professional Personal Trainers who give hands on instant feedback and adjustments during the workouts and just the right amount of encouragement. Clean and Well Kept, High Quality and Best Equipment, Easy Parking, Great Location, Friendly Staff, Diverse Group Classes, People are nice to one another.The music is blaring and the atmosphere is awesome. It’s a life changing gym experience and I recommend it highly to all my fiends and family.

Good gym, squat racks good and adjustable. Good use of limited space. Not crowded when I go at 9-11pm.Only thing I hate is the pop/club music with people singing their hearts out. Not hard to go on youtube and use a gym playlist.Better than the music in the puregym I went to previously down south though.
