Grafham Water Car Park
So this morning I thought I'd check out Grafham water as a place to work the dog after taking my daughter to school in Huntingdon. It was pretty useless. All the car parks were closed until 9am, which is when I needed to leave, not arrive. So I spent almost all of my available time driving round trying to find somewhere to park. Everywhere says No Parking"

Grafham Water Car Park
It maybe just a big reservoir lake, but it's a great place to visit and there's a host of activities to undertake whilst you are there. If you are looking to cycle or walk it's a great place to go visit, the walks and cycle trails provide beautiful views across the waters and there's plenty of wildlife in the area and loads of shade for the hot days amongst the many trees that are in abundance providing an almost woodland walk experience. It's also worth popping into the visitor centre to recuperate with a nice coffee or tea and a cake.

Grafham Water Car Park
Got locked in the car park when it was before the closing time. Called security and they basically told us they can’t do anything. So thank you Graftham Water for locking me in the car park all night :) bet you will fine me for overnight parking too rob me as a 19 year old girl. Shame on you Graftham Water. Next time I’ll bring my metal cutters and get out myself :)

Massive car park. At one end the facilities, cafe, toilet etc and at the other a footpath taking you around(ish) the water

Big car park but they could have made more space between the bays for access in and out of your car. Card payment only.

Payment machines next to Fishing Lodge or over the counter in Tackle Shop or at the barrier. There is a curfew secondary barrier, so read the notices so you are not locked in after hours.

I won't be visiting Grafham anything like I used to. The price of the annual permit has gone up over 50% in just over a year -£50/£60 & now £75.Caffe takings will also be down. More people will also be looking for other places to park, if they come at all.

A lovely day absolutely spoiled by the car park. Stayed just over three hours, did a short walk and went to the cafe. £8 to park. Just greedy. How can you justify that? Increments are 15 mins - Free, Up to 3 hours £4, 3 - 5 hours £8. Over 5 hours £10. It seems to me that they know that people will stay just over 3 hours so they are taking advantage. I am really not happy.

Only went to find different car park. Not many people there so was quiet. Toilets and café on site. Plenty of grass areas to sit and have picnics. Large car park. Cycle route all around lake. Some nature sites for bird watching. Please keep dogs on leads as I saw two dog face each other and only one owner bothered to stop any problems.well done to that person but both persons should have kept dogs on leads????. And let's all help to keep the place clean clear up your dog poo please.....
