Wow worth every penny, beautiful and elegant. Afternoon tea is amazing yes £50 each but eat as much as you want and just keep ordering. Anything you do not eat they give you a box to bring home.

Incredible lunch at the Astor Grill. Ok so you might have to save up, but what a magnificent place. Parking is outside the main house which is lovely in itself. Amazing service, beautiful food and they obviously care about every detail. We took the dog who was equally welcome and was brought his own water bowl and home baked plate of dog biscuits. These guys care, a lot. The best one word summary is simply: charming. Don’t hesitate, give it a go. Inside tables in the old stable area are the best.

We had an amazing festive afternoon tea today. The waiting team really knows how to make you feel special. The food was superb and with a view! We loved every second. Thank you for the little birthday card and brownie, it was so kind.

Afternoon tea is overrated, you will pay for the experience of cold off cuts in a very nice hotel. I had the vegan afternoon tea, and the cakes were overbaked, dry, and tasteless. The sandwiches were sloppy, unseasoned, and clumsy. It's not an experience I wish to try again. The only reason we didn't complain was because the service was good.

A beautiful, relaxing stay. Staff were so welcoming and helpful. Facilities are beautiful, spa, main house and rooms. Gardens you can explore for hours. Wonderful memorable stay. Would recommend

Afternoon tea. Was a beautiful setting, just what you want for afternoon tea and the food was excellent. My test of a great tea is re fills of sandwiches which we got. We also had other savoury treats. You can then spend time wondering the beautiful grounds.

We collected a puppy from Wales and stayed one night before going back to the States. My puppy was very welcomed, her bedding and all were set in the room. They assigned a perfect location so we could go out easily when needed. While we enjoyed our meal, hotel staff were so helpful and babysat my cheeky puppy. We enjoyed art, history and delicious food. Presentation was lovely. One of the best hotels I have stayed.

Walked the fabulous, dog friendly grounds. Plenty of little catering huts, friendly and helpful staff. Vehicles were driven too quickly despite speed signs and the many members of the public using the same route that could have been injured.
