Appledore Quay Gift Shop
Partner visited today for a browse with the intention of buying some gifts for family at home. Sign indicating rule of 6 and he was the only one in the shop. Family of 7 came into the store and the woman behind the counter demanded he leave despite being there first as ‘the family will spend more money’. Horrendous customer service for a small business.

Even in the rain Appledore Quay has a charm and beauty. Treated ourselves to the legendary and ever so tasty Hockings Ice cream and bought a tub of to take home. Look forward to coming again next year!

Appledore Quay Gift Shop
Unfortunately not the most pleasant of experiences, found the shop keeper rather rude to be honest. Was questioned as to what exactly we were looking for on entry which seemed a little odd for a gift shop especially on the coast! Once passing the entry requirements, we swiftly wanted to leave and the last thing on our minds was making a purchase I’m afraid.

I visited this gift shop on a trip 3years ago and bought some beach themed things - love them all and have longed to go back - my second visit did not disappoint, such lovely decorations and furnishings to decorate any seaside nautical beach themed room. Also could not resist taking my loot home in their sandy toes and salty kisses" jute bag which is just lovely and really strong great quality. Also the crab bait we bought here worked a treat - big chunks of bacon and we caught 18 in the first 20mins crabbing at the quay!"

Awful experience. We’ve had some lovely experiences shopping in appledore, but the lady in this shop was just down right rude. Needless to say after she snapped at us we just left without buying anything. One street back from this nightmare are some lovely shops with fantastically friendly shop owners/ staff.

My favourite shop always visit here when travelling to Appledore! Buy the traditional stick of rock and fridge magnet ✅ staff are always friendly. They also display local art too.
