Skyline - Student Accommodation Bournemouth

skyline is a great place to live. i have lived here the whole of my degree and i wouldn’t wanna be anywhere else. the staff are so helpful with any issues especially sarah, sue, hero and nathan. the building is so clean and the rooms are the perfect size! i would recommend skyline to everyone :))

Overall experience was great, staff were lovely and security very experienced, I couldn't give this location 5 stars however due to the amount of times the lifts would break, everything else was worth it. The staff would even organise meetings, events and parties for the tenants, creating a friendly atmosphere and at time we would even be given gifts. If the lift issues do get resolved I would strongly recommend this place.

Hard to find a place like this that can keep you safe and provide great accommodation.Staff are friendly and although I have had no issues With the room I know that if I did they would sort it with no problems.Covid has been really tough but the building is always cleaned thoroughly and I didn’t feel at risk here especially as I have asthma, I was definitely looked after .Location is spot on as well , always a bonus .

I was treated with extremely rude behavior by the staff. The day I moved in,my room was a mess. Food on the floor and couch, garbage bins were overflowing and flies everywhere. I spoke to one of the manager about this and no one came to inspect or tried to talk about the issues as my roommates won't listen. After that, all my roommates moved out leaving all their mess behind, I was the last one living there and suddenly, in the morning while I was still sleeping, one of the managers knocked on my door waking me up and started talking rudely about the mess like I was the only one who did it.The fact that they never tried to talk to my roommates in such a manner while they were here but me. The manager said we did not see the requirement to talk to them at that time. Also, the building is incomplete. There are no flooring tiles on the stairs after 3rd or 4th floor till the 16th floor. The cycle store in the basement also has no tiles on the floor and there are number or screws and spikes lying on the floor and it punctured my bike 2 times during my stay.When I was away for vacation, I sent an email to the managers that, I am going away for a while and she replied that we will make sure to run the water in the shower and sink until you come back but when I came back everything was dried and smelling.As I am writing this review... I could see that, for every one star review they replied with same answer which clearly states that they don't care about these reviews and try to improve.From my own experience, I would suggest Skyline as a worst case option which is when you run out of options and don't find accomodation anywhere, then you consider Skyline. Other than these experiences the location is good and it is accessible to the nearby train station, asda and bus stops.

The staff are extremely rude and unhelpful. My flat complained about a few issues, one of them very serious and the staff did everything in their power to shut us down, stop us talking and not help us in any way. Do not go to skyline if you want a good halls experience.

This accommodation is amazing! Great design and location. But the best thing is the team they are like a family! Already ask how we are, what we are doing and if we need anything.Kimberley the manager is fun and makes you feel safe. Sue is always there if you need a chat and Rocky is so helpful and energetic. Even in Covid they help make everyday better. I love this accommodation and will book next year!

Please look elsewhere for accommodation if you're looking to live in Bournemouth.The rooms are cheaply made and completely over priced, constant power cuts and wifi issues. Despite living here during the majority of lockdowns numerous contractors and staff members would enter the flats at random times with either no warning or coming in on a completely different day than specified. The accommodation staff were rude and belittling, they even went as far as to get added to the buildings group chat to look at the residents conversations - a massive breach of privacy. Ive had parcels lost, contractors use my toilet and no issue I ever emailed about was resolved. I know from speaking to other residents that I am not the only one who was unhappy living here,note: Skyline have responded claiming they have no record of my complaints however I have at least 4 emails in my sent box titled complaint just from 2021.

Skyline is a brilliant accommodation, rooms are very spacious and the area surrounding skyline is perfect. Not a far walk to gain access to the town center. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, they are also very approachable. I would recommend this accommodation to my friends.

I stayed here last year. The only reason why people stay here its only to flex to say you stay in skyline which is the most flashy student place in bournemouth to people at uni, other than that it is really bad and some of the people are rude and entitled.

DO NOT LIVE HERE. Stupid rules about how many people you are allowed into your flat. My friends were wanting to visit the building as they were keen to know what it looked like. Security guard was very abrupt and treated me like a kid. I pay enough money here to be able to bring my friends up to my flat.
