Novotel Edinburgh Centre
We had a great stay, the location was great and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We had a family room, so as I read in some other reviews there were some stains on the carpet but I would expect that in a room where kids are just going to make messes over and over again. The bathroom was nice and everything was clean. We will definitely stay again if we ever make it back to Edinburgh.

Lovely clean hotel. Giving a different rate for room when checking in but I had my booking email with correct daily rate so quickly sorted. Food was fine and good price. The hotel dose not take cash for anything not even at the bar. Leisure facilities were great.

Overall, very comfortable and relaxing stay. My only issue and one shouldn't complain, but I found the room to warm and with no option to adjust or switch off. Other than that everything was great.

I stayed a couple of days before and during a Trafalgar tour, and one day after the tour when my flight was cancelled. I found the hotel to be very well located. The breakfast was fantastic. I enjoyed sitting in the lobby and having a drink at night. Luggage storage was a huge benefit. Weird things: Showers in both rooms were configured so that water sprayed out onto the bathroom floor. The toilet did not have water deep enough to cover a BM and prevent a bad smell and causing fecal matter to stick to the porcelain which is embarrassing; water conservation taken too far. The hand towels were folded to create a pocket for a washcloth, but no washcloth was provided. No pen in the room. I ran into the pen issue at another Scottish hotel. It's just a pen.

Great location. Parking is small but we managed to get a space. Rooms are very small. Friendly staff. The worst part is the changing rooms in the swimming pool - they are tiny for 1 or 2 persons and only 6 lockers while there are very large toilets on the other end of the pool. Towels are placed conveniently next to the swimming pool and plenty are available. The sauna looks refurbished or at least the timber is very fresh.

Breakfast was very good with plenty to choose from. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was far too hot overnight and we found a pair of socks that weren't ours so it raised the question of how thorough the clean was. The USBs didn't work and although quick to attend, they weren't all rectified.

As usual excellent service, lovely breakfast, relaxing spa and clean rooms. Only thing missing were Christmas decorations not one on sight it would’ve made it even more magical.Reception staff friendly, location perfect, rooms spacious, pool very relaxing, breakfast amazing such a lovely hotel hence why we return a lot over the years.

Stayed here earlier in 2023, great spot for the hop on hop off bus tour with the stop across the street. Within walking distance of loads of fab restaurants. Pool downstairs was small but perfectly clean. We did not eat here but had drinks at the bar and service was excellent over the weekend. Staff all very friendly. Absolutely will return

Novotel Edinburgh Centre
All the staff were very helpful and friendly. I am most grateful that they changed my room at half past midnight when I got out the shower and realised the room was completely flooded! Breakfast was lovely too.
